Hello- I printed 2 of these by hitting the browser back button and did 2 transactions this morning and I was told it is coupon fraud because they had the same barcode number but he would make an exception this time. I had never heard of this. Is this true?
OF COURSE the barcode is the same – the barcode is what tells the scanner what you are buying and how much it should take off!
What needs to be different are the numbers in the box in the upper right hand side of the coupon and if you hit the back button and reprinted it WILL be different.
I can deal with ignorance BUT I have a pet peeve about people who accuse others of “fraud” or anything else when they are the ones that are clueless!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR
next time SHOW THEM the security number… and show them a regular manufacturer coupon and how they have the same barcode… just like two of the same shampoos do too. show them how security numbers change from coupon to coupon when printed online. i’m a walgreens cashier and a couponer and YES i have to educate other cashiers on this bullsh*t regularly. then there are the ones who take the real fraud ones so that they get yelled at for the loss and still dont know why so they start making up excuses to not take REAL web coups.
i just printed this coupon 2 times and the numbers by the barcode number did not show up! can i still use them?
Yeah you can probably still use it if it has the GS1 cosing most WAGS that have the new registers can scan these with no problem.

When I bought my south beach bars a $2 coupon printed, off of 10 powerbars. I know this was brought up last week I believe, but wanted to mention again. The small ones are 2/1.00, plus a $2 catalina when 10 are bought. SO with the coupon, buy 10 for $5, use the $2 coupon and get $2 back… like paying $1 for 10 of the small powerbars. 🙂 I did this deal twice. My store didn’t have many.
i agree i have educated several cashiers reguarding the print at home coupons Several have tried to refuse so i just educate 🙂 i have long given up getting angry at the checkout i simply say “if u dont want to take it there is another company that will” and i do Rite aid for me is the best!!!!!
