I thought Walgreens stacked coupons so you could use both mfc and store coupons to make it free?

The one in the Diabetes and You is a mfc coupon.

I work for a dentist and we have coupons available. So you might want to check with your dental office and ask before you go. Good luck!

Am I missing something? The list of coupons included only adds up to $15???????

Reply

Guest January 2, 2012 at 2:59 pm

Nevermind. I get it now. It adds up to $30, because the deal requires buying two boxes. Slow….

But I guess that would make it $30 of coupons for $2 then… But the post does say $30 in each box, so now I am not sure…
“= $1 EACH + $30 in coupons in each box!”

Just look at the boxes. $15 + $15 = $30.

You pay a $1 for each Colgate – the $30 in coupons is an extra bonus.

I’ve changed the wording to hopefully make it easier to understand.

Just went to try this and the tylenol deal: 1. The RR’s are not printing today 🙁 They told me to come back in a couple of days after it’s fixed. 2. Also was advised that effective yesterday, our district has advised the store that there is a limit of 1 RR transaction per day. Apparently there are complaints that the sales items are gone by Sunday or Monday so those who wait until the later part of the week does not get the items. Anyone else have this problem? I have a call into WAGS customer service already and hopefully, they’ll reverse this. It’s unfortunate that innocent people have to suffer because of shelf clearers.

I agree with you, but I’m glad that they may start limiting RR. I’m one of those who never gets most deals because the “piggies” get there first. I’d be happy with 1…1 is better than none which is what I usually get LOL!

Hmmm…I did the Tylenol deal at 2 different stores yesterday (1-2-12) and received my RR’s each time. Maybe it’s just your store?

I received clarification that it is not 1 RR per day. It is actually 1 RR per item per day. This is totally fine with me. Sorry for not getting the facts straight before posting. I don’t mean to start up any “conversations” on this website. Christie does a great job with the posts!

I am really happy with this website . It really helps us all save money and I don’t think calling people names because they clear shelfs is appropriate. So they cleared the shelf before you got the item. That has happened to me several times. I just needed to get my self to the store earlier to get that item and not blame others.I think we should all take ownership and responsilblity when we shop.

I luv this site and I am able to save in many ways thanks to the site. The only problem I have with the site is the negative responses from some of the participants. I am on here to save and learn “not” to read whiners remarks!

I think you remarks hit the spot perfectly. I feel the exact same way.

When I first started shopping at wags they had a limited amount of items and a few people would come in every Sunday and it would all be gone by Monday. But, my wags decided to just order a bunch of each item that are producing RR. If I don’t get the deal I’ll just get it another time. Wags has such a limited supply, often times it isn’t shelf clearers but just a few people buying 1. So I would hold my tongue when calling people names!

I got the 2 Colgate toothpastes tonight for $1 ea after qs and RR. Like Christie, it pains me to pay for toothpaste, but these coupons were too good to pass up! They are good for basically a year and are for products I buy. Also in addition to my RR, 4 catalinas printed out!
1. .75 off 20 oz vitamin water
2. 1.25 off (1) 2 or 6 bar pack of Dove
3. 2.00 off any Listerine whitening(no size restriction)
4. 3.00 off any Poise product
Was not expecting the extra catalinas; what a nice surprise!
