I’m finding more and more of the Glade Candles on Clearance for just $1.99.
If you find them at your store too, if you have any of the following magazines you can grab them FREE! They all had a $2/1 any Glade Scented Oil Candle Holder coupon in them. You’ll just need the coupon adjusted down by one cent. 🙂

Family Circle and Food Network had them too!
So does that mean Walgreens does not give overage? I found Covergirl mascara on clearance for $1.99 so I thought I could buy 2 and use my $8/2 coupon – but was wondering if they would just be free or if I would get $4 towards more of my purchases?? Thanks
No they do not give overages like that they will adjust the coupon to the price of the item
That coupon is not intended for mascara.
I’m confused – if the candles are on sale for $1.99, how can you use $2/1 coupons that say they’re for scented oil candle holders or refills? Mine doesn’t say anything about getting the actual candle like the one shown in the picture. Are you sure you can use this coupon for these candles?
The candles shown are the secented oil candle holders. So this is the correct matchup
Okay, thanks Samantha!
I already bought my share!! My store had the scented oil candles for $1.19 and I had several $1 off coupons. They also had the 2 oz soy based candles for $1…..coupons for $1/2. I am gonna have a good smelling house considering we have a teen, toddler and a dog……oh yeah, a husband.
My walgreens store never adjusts the coupon price. I always have such big issue with them. Because of this I almost stopped buying any product which has higher coupon amount than the listed product at walgreens.
I can’t find the Q anywhere in the shape magazine 🙁
Magazine pages would be nice…
They are “booklet” type inserts that are in the magazine, so there is not a specific page number. I actually had several of them that I pulled out of some of the listed magazines and had put them in the front of my Q binder.
I just wish I could find them on clearance in central Florida-have tried several Wags and haven’t found ANY!
I had several of the -2.00 coupons for the Glad scented oil candles. I was so excitied to find them. Went to use the coupon and the clerk and manager was fast to tell me I couldn’t use the coupon. Said if the coupon says save up to 2.oo they will adjust it, if it just says save 2.00 I couldn’t! I asked to adjust it…She acted like she was gloating saying no they couldn’t! Same store also had 2 can I repeat 2 of the toilet paper items in stock when the sale started and the store opened. Same brand, but different kind, so they were fast to tell me RR wouldn’t print because it was different kinds. I have walked in this store to hear a manager say…”Oh, the season has started” Talking about that show…I have never watched, but don’t like being treated like that. One more trip to save a few pennies, when I can get Wal-Mart to price match and I am done! Any advice, or a policy I can shove in their face!
Found the clearance candles (they were marked $2 each), had 3 Q’s in hand and checked out and they rang up at $1.89. The cashier said she would have to adjust the coupon down to $1.89. She was VERY accomodating and I DON’T think she is the manager. And although I have another Wags MUCH closer to my house, I choose to patronize the one which values my business. Some of these high and mighty cashiers need to realize that by couponing we are not cheating ANYONE out of ANY money…the manufacturers still reimburse the store for the price of the item. I recommend that you contact WAGS customer service line to report the rude behavior of this cashier. It is absolutely unacceptable.
