Is the $5 RR an unadvertised deal? Maybe I missed an earlier post about it but my ad just says 2/$5 on the front page. I just hate to try & it not work (the cashiers here aren’t very friendly):(
The deal did not work for me. I emailed the catalina company but have not heard back.

And the Pretzel (can’t remember the size but they are the “medium” bag.
I did the deal and it works. 2/5 sale–but spend $10 get $5 RR. I used 4 $1 off coupons and it printed with no issues
I live in the Cleveland, OH area and the stores around me have the m & m’s on sale for $2.99 a bag. Not sure if they will be going back to $2.50 or not. Thanks again for all the time that you put into getting all the deals and sharing with us!
If possible, do a price check. A lot of times the deals (especially the monthly ones) don’t have signs up, but they ring up correctly.
This is a month long deal, I have did this 4 times now and no problem at all, got back the $5 RR each time, the bags are the 12.6 oz!!
What about the $3 off any 2 bags of Mars (26 or 30.5 oz bags)…monthly book coupon? Can you use it with this deal?
I live in Cleveland also. prices on the shelf is 2.99 but when rung up they are 2/$5. I did this deal 2X with coupons and RR printed with no problems

Usually when things are on sale 2/$X, the first one will ring up regular price, the second one cheaper, like $2.01 or whatever for this deal. You should have them price check TWO bags to see what the second one rings up at. I bet it’s the sale price.
I have done it 4 times now too and it worked like a charm!
I did this deal twice this week. It worked only once for me.
It worked on 4 bags of Pretzel M&Ms (using four $1 Qs). It did not work when I bought three regular M&Ms and one coconut M&Ms (used two $1.50 Qs). I questioned the cashier and she didn’t know anything. The manager is never helpful, so I went home to call corporate. They act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. They questioned me about coupon usage and why I should get a RR anyway.
One problem is that there were no signs at all about the sale or price. The other thing going against me and this transaction was that the coconut M&Ms were not recognizable by the computer at all. She had to manually enter the item and price. I am not sure if it was because of the flavor, or the fact that the receipt did not state “M&Ms” for one of the bags, so therefore it didn’t print.
Corporate said it would be 2 business days until I hear back from them …
It is probably because you bought coconut. The only ones I have bought and have worked over and over are the plain, peanut, peanut butter and preztel.
I just tried this and didn’t get a RR. What did I do wrong. I bought 2 fun size plain, and 2 fun size peanut. Used two of the $1.50/2 coupons. They were priced 2/$5. What number do you call to talk to someone about this? Thanks
Melinda, the monthly deal for the $5rr is not for the fun size bags, to get the $5rr you have to buy the 9.9 or 12.6 oz bags! I have did this 4 times with no problems at all, even got 4 or 5 different kinds and worked just fine!! I would just have did a return on the spot.

I only ran out to Wags today to do this deal and am so sorry I did! I grabbed my 4 bags, had the two $1.50/2 coupons I printed and the manager said I could not use the two coupons. He said since they had different numbers on them (ie. Bricks coupons create two different numbers when you hit the back button to print your second coupon-which shows you didnt just put the original down on the copy machine and print off as many illegal copies as you wanted of the original!!)
He tried to make me look like a fraud and wouldnt take the legitimate coupons. I feel like I’m being punished for doing the right thing!

Yeah you must buy 4 bags to get the $5 RR, would be 4/$10, but hurry sale ends today!!!!
Does anyone know when this deal ends? I printed my coupons and forgot to use them on Friday…I’m really hoping the deal is still on!!!
I did the deal on the 24th at my store where they turn over to the next weeks sale. I was able to use the Oct IVC for M&Ms $1/2 So free!! The manager told me the last day for the RRs to print was on the 24th.
I tried it tonight and no RR
