Keep an eye on clearance summer toys. My stores have already started to drop the prices, so far by 25%. I’m sure we’ll see these go lower over the next few weeks.
I spotted lots of water toys, beach toys and other summer items on clearance. They also had a great deal of Disney merchandise that had been recently reduced too!

One of my stores in Nashville/Brentwood area has already gone to 75% on alot of their stuff – I got a cart loaded with summer goodies last week (a 10ft pool for $20, a slip n slide for $5, etc). Good hunting everyone!

I’ve been to several stores in the area. They all varied in the amount from 25-75% on the same exact items. I bought some bath toys to put away for Christmas for my one year old. He also loved the chalk and bubbles 🙂
Several of the stores where I live are remodeling so that the cashiers up front can see the pharmacy area more clearly due to a rash of pharmacy robberies in the eastern part of the state. They are lowering the shelf height which means less room for current merchandise. i purchased a winnie the pooh humidifier for $10 recently and have gotten toys for 90% off.
My store in Huntsville, TX was at 50%!
@robin lol that’s not the main reasoning. All store are going through with this remodel, most of which began two years ago. Their main goal, apparently, was to get rid of too many choices for customers when it comes to the same product, because it often leads to a customer not choosing either of the two/three.
