For the Gillette deal, none of the Red Zone products were tagged as part of the deal at my store. However the Regular inexpensive $2.99 deodorants were and the Fresh collection products were. The B1G1 coupon is only for the Fresh Collection and the Red Zone products, not the regular $2.99 products. So I did a scenario with the Fresh Collection products and was able to grab them for under $1 each.

oh no! I”m so not happy to see the deoderant i special ordered isn’t tagged in your picture being included in the RR…. i hope that isn’t true or my store manager is NOT going to be happy with me 🙁
Rebecca – Hopefully it is. Let us know and if it is we can update. 🙂 I didn’t have many coupons for this so I couldn’t try it with the ones that weren’t tagged.
So OMG – the Sweat Defense deoderants (which are in the red zone series) ARE producing the RR!!!!! They are not marked at my store (or in your picture above) but they are on sale for 2/$7 and produce the RR. I am so happy since this is the ONLY deoderant my husband will use.
I bought….
4 – Old Spice Sweat Defense Deoderants
4 – Old Spice Body sprays
and used the following coupons
2 – $1/2 Old Spice products
4 – Buy Deoderant get body spray for free
Total (not including tax since that varies everywhere)
$13.68
receive $10 RR
Like paying $3.68….. he doesn’t use the body spray, BUT at less than $1 for his deoderant I am still VERY VERY happy!!!
That’s awesome! Wish I had some more coupons. LOL 🙂 Great deal!
which store allows you to order items
Baxter?
I did this deal with
1 womens razor
1 refill with said razor
2 red zone deoderant
1 free with q olay lotion
2 free with q old spice mens body spray
1 q for $2 off razor
1 q for $2 off refill
1 q for $1 off two deo.
Yes I went over the $30 mark until you take free stuff off.
was to pay $49 and change with tax
Did pay $29.80 with tax and got $10 RR
Go me.
How is it you can use 4 coupons and only purchase 3 items? My Wags will have a fit with that one and only let me use 3 coupons for the 3 items that I will be purchasing. Tell me how this works please!!
She purchased 6 items. 3 deo’s and 3 sprays.
I think that rule about the number of coupons you can use per order is so stupid. If I have coupons for the items and RR’s to use, I should be able to use them, even if I have more coupons than items. That dumb rule really makes me angry. I think Walgreens goes out of its way to antagonize the customer. Do they stay up all night thinking of ways to cheat the loyal customer?
I purchased the red zone products yesterday and the RR worked. This is what I did…
4- Red Zone Deodorants $3.50each
5- Red Zone Body Sprays $3.50each
Total- $31.50
Used-
4- B1G1 Old Spice Body Spray Free WYB Old Spice Fresh Collection or Red Zone
2- $1/2 Old Spice Products, any 1.7 oz + – 07-03-11 PG x7/31
Total- $15.50, Get $10 RR
=$5.50(+tax) or about .61 cents each!
I didn’t think you could apply a $-off coupon with a B1G1 coupon. I thought the the B1G1 attaches to both items, so using the $1 wouldn’t work?
Christie or someone, could you add clarity to the policy/rules? Thanks
It depends on how it’s coded. If it’s coded to end in a 01 like my Gillette coupons are you can use a coupon on the one you pay full price for. Just remember 01 it’s ok. 🙂
Okay, thanks.
Would I need to adjust my coupons-to-merchandise ratio to accomodate for it?
In your first scenario, you have 3 bogo coupons and 6 items.
If each bogo attaches to 2 items, would I need to add an item to use the $1? Also, could I not use 3 $1 off coupons, if they’re coded with an 01 (01 is okay)?
so should i use my buy 1 old spice deo get 1 body wash free coupon this week with the $1 off coupon?? or has anyone else found a better deal to use with these coupons??
If you buy 4 deoderant and 4 Body Spray
You can use 4 Bogo coupons and 2 of the $1 off coupons which makes your out of pocket under $10 plus you get the $10 RR back which makes your stuff free
ok so this is what i did today and the manager was the one the rang me up…. old spice.. bought 5 deodorant, 3 body sprays and a body wash…. coupons used..(4) 1.00 off of 2 old spice. (3) buy one deo. get a body spray free. and (1) buy a deodorant and get a body wash, total.. 14.13 and you get the $10 RR 🙂 thats $.46 each after coupons and RR
What line of deodorant did you buy?
GOSH my husband uses the Old Spice Sweat Defense deodorant line and it is NEVER included in these deals! GRR!
After making a $57+ purchase of old spice products Fresh collection and using coupons that brought that total to a lil over $13 I didn’t get a RR, the manager said, over the phone, said I used to many coupons and wouldn’t even come talk to me or show me in their policy.. My store is in Laurel, Ms.
Scan your receipt and send it to:
[email protected]
Include you name and address and the register reward you were expecting. They are really easy to work with.
I also had an unpleasant experience with an assistant manager and manager at the Walgreens near me (Chicago suburbs). I purchased $32 dollars worth of product, used the coupons and then the RR didn’t print. First the manager came and said I hadn’t bought enough, so I showed her the receipt. She then called over the assistant manager who said coupons are like cash and therefore RR do not print. I told him that wasn’t their policy. He insisted the only way I could get the RR was if I used absolutely no coupons. I just had them cancel the whole transaction and I went to another Walgreens relatively nearby who did accept the coupons and the manager was helpful and friendly.
It amazes me that managers do not know their own coupon policy which is only a page long to read. Makes you wonder what kind of training they go through.
Like I’ve said before……they just don’t care!
I also had a bad experience at my nearby Walgreens (Chicago). I had a total of 3 Old Spice body washes $4.99 and 3 Old Spice deodorants $5.79 thus surpassing the minimum of $30 worth of Gillette products and the RR didn’t print. I spoke to the manager and he said because I used coupons to get items for free, it doesn’t count toward the total amount purchased. Unfortunately, both manager and cashiers were idiots at this particular Wags.
I noticed at Wags tonight there was a yellow tag near the Gillette stuff that said buy $20 worth of Gillette to get $5 RR… Has anyone else seen or tried this deal??
Also… any word on whether or not the Cottonelle deal is woring yet??
I noticed that on the Buy One Get One Coupon for the Old Spice Fresh Collection that the Body Spray is Free up to $5.39 and the price at Walgreens is $5.49! Is this a potential problem to getting this deal??
Good catch! Yes but it just means it’ll be $.30 more. So not too bad. 🙂
In mi store the old spice are $4.99. So I need to buy the 3 deodoran and 3 body spray and 1 more item?
Yes – I would go for the $1.99 Gillette Shaving cream I mention in the second scenario.
