Although the Couponing to Community Challenge starts on May 8th, we decided to start a little early in light of the horrible Tornadoes that ripped through the South last week.
My buddy Kristen over at Couponing to Disney lives in Alabama and her community was badly hit. She is working with her church to collect much needed supplies like, baby food, deodorant, diapers, first aid kits, non-perishable food items, pet supplies, gently used clothes and other badly needed items. My hubby and I packed up some supplies (those are diabeties monitors you see on top) and are sending them over. I know that she will make sure they get to those who need them. I recently moved to Madison AL from West Palm beach FL and have experienced quite a few hurricanes being an island girl and floridia resident but this hits you in a different way and what you and your husband are doing brought tears to my eyes love my coupon family
I was SO excited to read this story! I went home last night and packed up a HUGE box of toiletries to ship out today. I think this is so great that so many are helping out in this way!

My friend Judy Lawler lives in Hackleburg, AL where we were hit by an EF5 tornado on April 27. She lost everything!!!!!!!!She is a diabetic and must wear diabetic shoes. Do you have any idea who I could contact to get her some diabetic shoes donated? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!! Paula
