Are the points equivalent to the RR?….. The deals work out the same?…
From my understanding, you get more points for items that are offered with a register reward in other areas of the country. It takes around 2000 points @ Wags to produce a measly $5 reward certificate on a next purchase. That took me three months to accumulate one. I try to maximize my dollar and spend the very least with coupons and sales for the best bargains purchased. This is counter productive since you gain points for purchase values along with certain advertised items.
Yeah, points are a much worse deal that RR’s.
Take the biore deal for example. Buy 2 and get a $5 RR, but we only get 800 points for buying 2, and it takes 2000 points to get a $5 certificate.
I wish walgreens would scrap the points program!
