by Christie Bisbee on December 21, 2010

Restaurant.com has put out another code for 80% off. Right now you can save 80% off a Restaurant.com $25 Gift Certificate, Gift Card or Dinner of the month club!

So if you are looking for a last minute gift or stocking stuffer you can get a $25 gift certificate at the restaurant you choose for $2! You can even print the certificate from your computer to give the recipient, so it’s an instant gift!  Just use code “HOLIDAY” HERE.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER ORDERED FROM
RESTAURANT.COM
1 – First go HERE to find participating restaurants by just entering your zip code.
2 – Once you find a restaurant you can see the specific offer available for that restaurant.
3 – Read the requirements and make sure you understand them. Some may say no Fridays or Saturdays or they won’t apply to alcohol. There may be an expiration date or a minimum purchase requirement. For example you must spend $35 to use your $25.
4 – Put the certificate you choose in your cart and put in your promotional code. After you pay for your certificate you will receive it in your email to print out.
5 – Now Go Have Fun and Enjoy your Meal! 😉

This can’t be for real! I have never used restaurant.com before, and I cannot believe this at all! I just don’t think that this can be legit!!! How can I get $315 in gift certificates for $27!?!? I just don’t understand what it means by,
“Minimum purchase of $35. 18% Gratuity added prior to discount.”
Could you please explain this? TIA!

Hi Gina – Basically what it means is that you need to spend a minimum of $35 to use the $25 gift certificate. So your deal would look like this.

Go out to dinner order $35 in food, beverages, etc. (If I can’t reach the $35 from my meal I order an extra entree to go!)
Use – $25 Gift Certificate (That you paid $2 for)
Total = $10 (+$2 you paid for certificate) = $12 for $35 meal!

It’s normal to have tip added to the pre-discount price since your server did the work of a $35 meal not a $12 meal. That’s it! 🙂
