GREAT Deal on Wonka Exceptionals!

by Christie Bisbee on December 20, 2010

UPDATEWhen I got to the store today I realized that Walgreens doesn’t sell the 3.5oz Gift Chocolate, just bars but that’s ok.  I have some GREAT News! There is a coupon that works for the Wonka deal. 🙂

The coupon is at the Target website but it’s a Smart Source MQ that prints with NO logo! (-Thanks Totally Target) I was able to print this twice!

Buy

2 – Wonka Exceptionals Gift Chocolate Bars 3.5oz 2/$4
Use
2 – $1/1 Wonka Exceptionals Chocolate Bars, 3.5 PRINT
1 – $1/2 Wonka Chocolate Bars, 3.5oz (5394) December Coupon Book
Total = Just $.50 EACH!

These would make excellent stocking stuffers! YUM!

Coupons.com has some great coupons for Wonka but they are for the boxes and I couldn’t find the boxes at my store. If you do find the boxes (at Walgreens or somewhere else) you can use this coupon…

-$3/2 Wonka Exceptionals Gift Chocolate 3.5oz Boxes PRINT

When we’re using a MQ and one from Wagreens’ coupon book, do we have to give the MQ first or the order doesn’t matter? I recently tried to use a MQ & one from the December book on some chocolates. The cashier scanned the Wagreens December coupon first. When he scanned the MQ, it beeped, and I was told I was only allowed to use 1 or the other.

My transaction…..
2 Toblerone bars 2/$3
$1/2 coupon from the December booklet
$1/2 coupon from 11/21 SS

The coupon from the December booklet was scanned first, and then the SS coupon, which beeped. Not sure if the problem was the MQ or I should have given the MQ coupon to be scanned first.

Hi Louisa – Yes, it matters. Always give the MQ first or it’ll beep.

Hi Caryn – You are welcome! 🙂

I’m rather new to couponing and “stacking” which seems to be getting me : ). I have the following coupons and I’m just trying to see if I can do what I think I can

1 BOGO – Wonka Exceptionals – MQ
1 $2/2 – Wonka Exceptionals – MQ
1 $1/1 – Wonka Exceptionals – MQ
Walgreens $1/2 – Instate Value

So if I bought 4 would they be free since they are on sale for 2/$4 or can I not use the $1/1 with the BOGO coupon?

I was able to print 4 just now before it cut me off (on one computer). Has anyone had problems with cashiers thinking you photocopied internet coupons if you walk in with more than one when the site could have let you get more or friends/family did it on their computers and gave to you?

My walgreens doesn’t sell the boxes.. I printed my coupons out and went to walgreens.. I bought the bars.. The cashier let me have 4 with 6.00 off and I used the 1.00 off..
Make sure your walgreens sells the boxes.
The cash register spit me a coupons $1.50 off 4 .. So I went ahead and bought 4 more… which was 2.50 off 2

Virginia – The coupon that I just posted is for bars not for boxes. So everyone will be fine printing it out and buying bars.

PB – I think many families have 2 computers at home. I often use my computer and my hubbies computer to print. I would think 4 would be reasonable. And you can always show them the different code each one will have if they doubt you! 🙂

Amanda – First take a look and see if your coupons are for bars or boxes. This deal is on the bars. Always give the MQ first and then the Wags Q. Hope that helps!

Pam, It worked for me 2 times.. I have 2 printers at home so I can print x4 on my printers.. I still have 2 2/3 coupons. I will use them later on.

I was able to buy 3.5 oz bars at my store and I didn’t look at if I really got it free which would mean all the coupons worked just like they should, but I’m pretty sure and then I actually got 10 bars free. I am putting them on my nieces and nephews packages etc along with a candy cane!

These are some of the most disgusting bars of chocolate ever! Save your money and buy some better tasting ones. I was expecting something great since it’s wonka and all, but it does not taste like chocolate at all!

grace, there was a discussion as to whether or not that $3/2 coupon is valid to use on the “bars”. The coupon says boxes. But the boxes and bars weigh the same. So . . . I think it is left up to the individual to use it or not.

for those of you using the Box coupon on the Bars, just FYI, you are screwing Wags over b/c they WON’T be reimbursed for the coupon b/c they DO NOT sell the BOXES. They are special HOLIDAY BOXES, avail at select retailers, so even though the size matches, you are doing Wags a disservice by misusing these coupons.
