The Hallmark deal really has be perplexed! As I’ve mentioned, I had no problems when I bought (6) of the cards, including the $.49 donation cards and the $.99 holiday cards. However, I didn’t get anything when I bought (2) cards (and I tried a variety of cards) on Sunday.
Now at a different store I see this sign for Buy (3) and get $2 RR instead of what is advertised in the ad, which is Buy (2) and get $2 RR. Not only is it in the ad this week, it’s also in next weeks ad.
Now, I have heard from some of you who did get your $2 RR and some of you who did not. So, let us know… What was your experience with the Hallmark Register Reward deal? Maybe we can get to the bottom of this mystery once and for all!

I bought 2 $0.99 cards at a Walgreens in Miami, FL on Monday (12/6) and paid $2.12 for both including tax. A $2 Jingle Cash DID print as well 🙂
I have not tried this again, however I have looked at a couple stores for the “Donation in Memory of” cards but haven’t been able to locate any of these…
I bought 2 .99cent cards this morning – a birthday card and a get well card and got the $2RR.
I bought 2 1.99 Hallmark Christmas cards and received my 2 dollar RR.
I bought 6 .99 cents Hallmark Cards and received my $5 RR.
My store’s sign said buy 3 get $2 RR. I bought 3 cards for .99 each and received the $2 RR.

They were having problems with the Christmas cards printing the Jingle Cash, but it was supposed to have been fixed by last night.
Monday, I purchased 2 of the 99 cents cards and got my RR
Today I saw the new sign buy 3,get 2RR. So I tried buying 2
in Chattanooga Tn and I got my 2RR Then again in Ft. Oglethorpe,
I bought 2 99 cents cards and got 2 RR. The cashier told me it
was buy 3, but I told her I had done the deal and it was in the
ad for 2. So we tried and it worked.
I bought 2 $.99 Christmas cards in Houston and got $2 in Jingle Cash. (I also bought $25 dollars worth of items, before any coupons, paid about $8 and got $5 in Super Jingle Cash.)

On Sunday I bought six $0.99 cards and only got $2RR. The manager put $5 on a gift card for me.
PS-my store had that same sign in the Hallmark section so I didn’t even bother buying 2.
I did this deal 3 different times here in Utah: bought 2 $0.99 cards. And I got the $2 RR each time. Ended up with $6 RR from the Hallmark deal!
On Monday I purchased 6 x-mas cards at 99 cents each and received the $5 RR. Did this twice.
Today (12/8), I was buying another set of 6 x-mas cards at 99 cents and I only received a $2 RR. Ended up returning them. I will try another store and see what happens.
Worked for me here in Idaho. I bought more expensive cards and no Christmas cards. Bought 6 for $1.99 ea and got a $5.00 RR. Was planning on doing it again today!! Sure hope it prints.
When I went on Sunday the buy 3, get $2 RR sign was up so I tried to buy 6, get $5. Only a $2 printed. The manager tried a bunch of different things to get a $5 to print. It seemed on Sunday that only the Christmas cards were coded but he had to scan 7 for a $5 to print. I went back yesterday to see if they’d fixed the problem because I wanted to stock up on $0.99 birthday cards…my store had just taken down all the signs for the Hallmark deal…
I bought 2 .99 cents cards and it printed a $2 rr. I looked at 2 different walgreens for the .49 cent donation cards and they weren’t at either one.
I did this twice 3-.99 cards and 3-.89 cards got $5 RR each time.
On Sunday I bought 2 99 cents Birthday cards and got my 2RR
I bought 6 99cent cards and got $5 jingle cash. I’m very happy!
I tried 6 .99 cents gift card, but the RR dosen’t work for them. So I was able to exchange them for 6 .99 cent regular Christmas cards, they didn’t have any 49 cent cards, and got a $5 RR. The display sign said buy 3 get $2, or buy 6 and get $5.
Cheapest card at my store was $1.79! No deals for me 🙁
They said all the cheap ones are gone for the holiday season?
On Sunday, I bought two cards (a 99 cent kids card and a 99 cent money holder one), and I did not get a RR. Tuesday I bought 2 cards, a 99 cent kids card and a more expensive sympathy card, and I did receive the RR.
In the Kansas City area, I have bought 2 .99 cards and have gotten the $2RR. I have also bought 6 of the .99 cards 2 of which were Christmas cards and got my $5RR.
I went this morning and bought 3 .99 christmas thank you cards and 3 .99 money holder christmas cards. It only printed a $2 RR. So I went over and read the signs in the aisle and it plainly says at the bottom that inclusion cards are not eligable. So I tried it again with no money holder cards and got the $5 RR.
I had a kinda wierd experiance. I took grandma with me to Wags and she bought two birthday cards $2.99 and $3.49. She was told that she couldn’t buy the $3.49 “neice” birthday card because it was recalled. Seriously, a Hallmark card is recalled? She was ready to just leave the cards and go home, but they relented and she purchased the two cards with no RR printing. I then bought my two birthday $.99 cards and got a RR. They gave grandma her $2 cash and we went on our way. The cashier was peeved, because she said there is no rhyme or reason so the manager would have to override when they don’t print. I am not sure it’s legal to advertise RR with exclusions but not put what those exclusions are. You shouldn’t have to buy something to find out what the discount is!

I bought 2 Christmas cards and got 2rr. The next day I bought 2 birthday cards and got 2rr. I live in soutern Calif. My 2 Christmas cards were gift card holders.
Today I found the .49 cards and bought 6, and got the $5RR.
Then I went to a diff Wags, and couldn’t find the .49 ones so I found .89 “Thinking of You”…and those worked as well.
I asked a manager that was standing by, if ALL Hallmark cards were included and he said yes, but Hallmark sent them an email saying that they left out a few UPC codes so it will not trigger the RR. He told me that if it didn’t print that he would do it manually.
I bought 2 .99 cards (one birthday and one thank you) and I got the $2 RR no problem.

I bought 6 of the .99 gift card ones tonight and they didn’t print a RR, are they not supposed to? Our WAGS doesn’t have a sign up at all. I bought (6) .99 christmas and a combo of reg and christmas two days ago and those both printed the $5 reward.
I was going to call the Catalina # tomorrow, but if they are excluded, I guess I will bring them back, will that mess up my Jingle Cash though? If I do an exchange will it print? I have to run out tomorrow again anyways.
I kinda want the money cards though, since I bought those Rest.com certificates!
The clerk in my store said the Hallmark one couldn’t be any more vague!

I bought (2) 99 cent cards yesterday and got the $2.00 catalina. Today I bought the (4) 29 cent “in memory of” card inserts and (2) 99 cent-ers. Cashier had to manually input the Christmas card UPC as it beeped when scanned; and when done only a $2 RR printed. I questioned the manager who said she got an email saying the Christmas cards weren’t working. She took me to another register and scanned the non-Xmas 99 cent card six times and at the end the $5 RR printed. As an act of goodwill, she gave me both RRs. oop $ 3.38; $7.00 in RRs. Money maker!
I bought 2 .99 Christmas card Tues (Metro ATL) And no RR
I bought 2 .99 get well cards today in metro Atlanta and the RR printed. I read somewhere that the cards had to have a 700 for the beginning of the bar code, so I looked for cards with that bar code. Those two cards worked but the selection of .99 cards was very small.
Last night I bought (2) of the .49 donation cards and (4) of the .99 girl’s birthday cards and my $5 RR printed without any problems. I found the .49 donation cards with the sympathy cards if this helps anyone. They were on the bottom row and they are pretty small.
The reward did not print on Sunday so today I returned the cards and received a refund. The clerks said they just fixed the reward. She scanned the cards and I paid for them and out popped the $2 reward.
I had to buy some birthday cards for my boss, and although I’m not sure what the price was, I bought 2 and received the $2 RR.
The Hallmark tissue paper is working for the jingle cash if you buy 6!!! They are on sale with the in ad coupon!!!
Bought two Tuesday night. One of the full size 99 cent ones and one smaller baby gift one that is a really small square (but still 99 cents and still hallmark). It didn’t print. 🙁
I did recoup my loss tonight with the 3/$1 tissue paper. Buy 6 for $2 and get the $5 RR.
I bought 6 of the 20 count Hallmark white tissue paper regular price 99 cents (not the ones near the cards, instead they are near the Christmas wrap). Then I used the 3/$1 coupon, making my transaction cost a total of $2.20 and then I got a $5.00 reward, a profit of $3.80.
