Like to have extra money for the holidays? Starting this week I’m going to profile some ideas on how to either make a little extra money or save money during the holidays. I’m determined not to put any of my Christmas shopping on a credit card! 🙂

One of the ways I earn extra money is with survey companies, it’s easy and honestly it’s fun. AND many of the survey companies will send you free products to try out. I’ve been sent salad dressing, shampoo, soda, soap, makeup and more. They also offer sweepstakes regularly, giving you additional opportunities to earn!
Mindfield Surveys pay anywhere from $1 – $10 each depending on length. You’ll be able to cash out with Mindfield anytime you reach $5 in earnings. You can cash out using paypal or a check. With Synovate you’ll earn points redeemable for cash by taking surveys. They are known for sending out LOTS of free products for you to review! If you are sent a survey you don’t qualify for you’ll know quickly & they’ll still give you points. You’ll need to fill out 2 simple forms to sign up. They’ll send you a confirmation e-mail, you must confirm your participation in that e-mail before they’ll start sending you surveys! I really enjoy their surveys. You can check them out HERE.

Pinecone pays $3 per survey. The surveys are simple, they pay super quick and you often get to try out free products. They only send you surveys you qualify for. They pay either via check or paypal. I’ve been with them the longest and am very happy with them. If you don’t qualify at this time don’t be discouraged,try again the next time they have openings. I, also, use Mypoints and Swagbucks. With those sights you can do various things to earn points and turn them in for gift cards at tons of stores. Last year I earned enough for a 100 gift card from Target at Mypoints. That really helped with the Christmas shopping.
