CLOROX / TILEX DEAL
UPDATE – Looks like this one was fixed. Hope you got it yesterday morning when I posted. Still a great deal since you are paying just $.50 EACH! (But of course money makers are always better!)
I did the Clorox/Tilex deal I wrote about earlier and it worked perfectly. I got (2) $2 RR compliments of Clorox! So you basically can get Money Making Tilex and Money Making Clorox wipes. I don’t know how long it’ll be before they fix this so I’d get it as soon as you can.
Reader Debbie let us know that the S.O.S. only produced 1 $2 RR and Alicia let us know the Pine-Sol is only producing 1 as well.

HYLAND’S DEAL
I had to travel to 3 different stores to find the Hyland’s Cold ‘n Cough 4 Kids, 4oz. This is another one of those situations were Walgreens clearly didn’t send out enough of these to their stores. The coupon beeped and had to be entered manually but went through fine when entered manually. It might have been my printer which has been acting up lately so you may or may not have the same issue, just be prepared. If they have a problem, ask them to try entering it manually.

FULLBAR FIT DEAL
None of the (3) stores I visited had this in! I think that’s just nuts. I couldn’t even find a place for it to have been. So if you find this deal, let us know how it goes!

Im still getting the hang of Walgreens. If I wanted to do the deal with the clorox and the tilex, can I do it in one transaction and still get register rewards for both items, or do I have to do them in two seperate transactions?
I got a full bar today and it is GROSS! The emergen-c stuff is also not tasty.
Same for me, I got 2 RR for my Tilex purchase, I did find the Hylands deal and my coupon worked without beeping and I also could not find the Fullbar Fit bars!!
I couldn’t find the fullbar or the Hyland’s. However, my store had peelies for $2 off on the Vaseline!! I am going to go get more 🙂 thanks for the tip on the Clorox deal. I got some 🙂
I had to ask the manager for the Fullbars. They had a big display in the back he brought out for me. When I went back later for the clorox deal, the display was still sitting on the shelf in the wrong section, hmmm. Hylands was also in short supply in my store. Only a few boxes.
Jennifer – I didn’t see any $2 peelies on my Vaseline but I’ll be hitting a few more stores tomorrow to look!
Vicki – Maybe I’m glad I didn’t find the bars then. LOL.
Diana – You could either do (2) Tilex, or (2) Clorox or one of each in one transaction. Don’t do (4) though or you won’t get all the RR.
I really, really hope that the Clorox is still producing the (2) RR tomorrow, I LOVE that stuff!
I found $2.00 peelies on the Vaseline lotion making it a money maker!!!
I wasnt planning a trip today, but with the double register rewards and with the peelies on the lotion, Im so tempted to make a trip today!
My Hyland’s coupon didn’t scan either. They had to enter it manually.

Just got back from Wags.(right after I saw this post) Bought (2) of the Clorox wipes, used (2) 1/1 Wipes q, and only got back one 2.00 RR. Not sure why it didn’t work for me. Was I supposed to buy 1 of each??
I work for Walgreens and I believe there was a manufacturing or distribution issue with the Hylands. My store ordered it ( I send them emails a few weeks in advance so they can order up on the good stuff), but we still didn’t get it in. The full bars did come in a display (they were delivered to stores about 3/4 weeks ago. I emptied our display and made a spot for it in our diet section. I hope you guys find what you are looking for.
I was able to get both (two different stores). I did two transactions:
Transaction 1:
1-Homestyle Mac and Cheese
2-Tilex
Used: 1-$1 off on Mac and Cheese
Used: 2-$1 off on Tilex
Came to $4 and change
Got $4 (2-$2 for Tilex)
Transaction 2:
2-Clorex
2-Candy Corns (2 for $3)
Used-1-$1 off on Clorex (the coupon wouldn’t print twice)
Used-1-$5 RR (from Nyquil)
Spent $2.46
Got 2-$2 for clorex
Got 1-$1 for candy corn
I did the clorox deal with (2) $1/1 Q and got (2) $2RR. yay!!
I bought Hiland’s this morning, coupon works fine for me. and I think there are still 4 or 5 boxes left in the store I went to.
Hi Christie-I read the FAQ but am not sure if what happened at Walgreens to is correct. I would appreciate advice from you or anyone!
I tried to buy 2 Clorox wipes and use 2 Clorox $1 mfg Qs and $3 in RRs. I added a small filler to absorb the 1 cent. The register would not accept it.
So, I tried 1 Clorox and 1 filler with $1 Clorox mfg Q and $2 RR (was from P&G). That went through ok, but didn’t give me my $2 Catalina.
The cashier told me to buy my purchases and she called the manager who would come over in a few minutes and straighten out the Catalinas.
I then bought 1 Clorox and another filler with $1 Clorox mfg and $1 RR (forgot from where but not Clorox or the filler companies) and the register didn’t give me my $2 Catalina on this purchase.
I then purchased the Vaseline Infusion and paid $5.99 for it and received my $5 Catalina so the Catalina machine is working.
The manager then came over and told me I could not use RRs to pay for items that give me RRs regardless of which company it was from. She said Walgreens was recently told by Catalina that they would no longer give RRs if items are paid for with RRs.
I left the store and figured I’d ask all of you. I think I should have received at least one $2 RR on the Clorox. Am I wrong?
I am so aggravated with couponing lately. It’s a great Walgreens store but every time I go in, there are new rules. I still paid $2.67 ($7.67 – $5RR Vaseline) for 2 Clorox wipes, 1 Walgreens purse kleenex, 1 small bag of candy corn and the Vaseline Infusion so it was a good deal anyway. But, still. 🙂
April – Sorry for your frustrating experience. You have to buy (2) Clorox in the same transaction to get the Register Reward. I can’t explain why the register wouldn’t accept the first scenario if you had over $5 in merchandise, $5 in coupons, 3 coupons and 3 items it should have been fine.
As for not getting a RR when you use a RR to pay – your Manager is making up her own rules. Apparently a pastime of Walgreens managers around the country. Next time maybe she’ll tell you you can’t get your RR because it’s raining.
Cottage Hill and Schillinger has a ton of the bars, they only had 3 of the kids meds!
I got 2 $2 RR for the Colox but the manager took the other one from my hands and threw it in the trash. I got so offended that i ended up returning all the items. She showed me the ad and said only $2 RR will be given. That it was a mistake and that they were going to fix this problem. Well im too upset. 🙁
The pine-sol is NOT triggering two RR, just the one. But the tilex and clorox wipes produced two!! And I also found $2 peelies on Vaseline!! Good trip!! Thanx so much!! Btw, I’m in Jefferson City, MO.
The Fullbars were in a bright green shelf end display at my store. They were not easy to find but there were a bunch there!

I wish stores would respect the hard work and the effort couponers put into a shopping trip instead of being so difficult sometimes.
I was so excited to finally have all of the coupons to do one of your awesome Senarios, then I messed it up! 🙂 Somehow I didn’t get the right Vicks or FullBar in transaction #1 because no RRs printed. However I just picked up with transaction #2 and continued with #3 and #4. I got 2 of the $2 RRs for the Tilex. Ya! I used them to get two 24-packs of water and ended with a $3.50 for the Emergen-C. I think I may return my messed up transaction #1 items and try again tomorrow at another store. I’m still excited with what I got!!! Thanks for everything!!!
So everything went well besides the fact that they would not let me use my coupon for the hylands because there was a barcode below the expiration date and would not key it in. then with my robitussin i needed they did the same with them. so i ended up spending 5.50 more. 🙁 oh well i guess. i did get the 2-2 RRs for the clorox and tilex so that made up i suppose. still discourages you a little.
Jessica – Please, Please, Please call and complain or even better, write a letter directly to their CEO in IL and complain.
We don’t even know exactly why 2 $2 RR are printing. Maybe there’s a monthly deal on Clorox wipes we just haven’t found yet, we don’t know yet. And I promise that if we don’t know this manager sure doesn’t know.
If indeed they made a mistake, they are an enormous company, they can bite the bullet and absorb the $2 loss and fix it tomorrow. Why insult a customer for a lousy $2? Honestly, not only is it rude but it’s bad business and there is no other way to say it… it’s just plain stupid.
Complain to corporate, tell them you want a call back from the district manager NOT the store manager. Then tell them how you were treated.
brittany – Try another store, my coupon beeped too (although many of you had no beeps)and it was fine when they keyed it in.
The Clorox and Tilex worked great for me! Thank you so much for publishing this information. The bars and Vitamin C were not in stock. The bars sold out and no one knew where the Vitamin C was. I was okay with it, though, because I got the great deal on the cleaning supplies!!
I went in two stores in chattanooga tn and they both had full shelves of the hyland cough medicine. Coupon went thru great. No beeps here! But did not see peelies on lotion…
At my store the Full bars were tricky to find. It took me and two employees but we located them in a green display box by the pharmacy door. My store did have a large amount of the hylands, vicks, vaseline (no peelie, bummer), and emergen-c. SO yeah! Also, got the tilex and clorox wipes to double on the rewards. Great Day! FYI: If you are looking for more dollar off clorox wipes coupons I was able to find a tear pad of them at my grocery store (Krogers) underneath the wipes you use on your carts.
also i just realized when i did the deal on robitussin it did not print my 3 rr how would u go about getting this or do u bite the bullet and just not worry bout it?

After a rotten day yesterday with a WAG’s manager at a brand new store (and Hell yeah I emailed corporate) I had a wonderfully easy time at my regular Walgreens. Found the Hylands, coupon was not a problem & got the double up $2 RR. The cashier was so cute with her ‘wow’ & ‘and look at all these RRs you keep getting back’. Very cool to impress her a bit & I even told her about your super-duper website.
I’ve been couponing for a few months now & I always mess up. What helps me is I actually print out every thing I plan on buying, how many, what coupons to use, what RRs & how many fillers I need. Since I’ve been using my cheat sheet, I don’t mess up nearly as much. Plus, I try to use the cosmetic clerk & register as often as I can. That way neither the cashier nor I get stressed out because of a line.
Did I mention how much I LOVE this site? Thanks for all the help & tips on great deals.

I bought 2 Clorox Wipes this morning and only got 1 $2RR. Maybe they have it fixed now to only print 1.

My store in Oregon had tons of both the Hyland’s and the Fullbars – lucky me! When there are extra good RR deals, they always put a shelf of all of them out in the front of the store (so this week’s shelf is stocked with Hyland’s, Fullbars and Emergen-C). I had no problem using the BOGO on the Fullbars or the Q for the Hyland’s.
I also had a surprise RR print out for me this morning – I bought a bag of the Wonka Exceptionals chocolate (on sale for $2.99), used a $2 off coupon, and they printed out a 50 cent RR!
I only got 1 RR this morning for the Lysol too, but 2 for $1 is still a great deal!
The Fullbar’s are REALLY Gross! They’re aren’t even worth getting free!
If you are at Walgreens, check if they have a Suave Lotion coupon for .75 cents. I found them at some Walgreens and I used them on the Suave Lotion Rite Aid deal two weeks ago.
My store didn’t have the FullBar either!
