Walgreens Testing Out NEW Program

by Christie Bisbee on September 3, 2010

Walgreens is trying out a NEW program in test markets in California and Illinois called “Quick Shop”.  With Quick shop you place your order on-line and in about an hour your items will be ready for pick up at your store.

If you live in one of the following cities -San Jose, Palo Alto, Los Gatos or Mountain View, CA OR Libertyville, IL you are in the test market for this new program. If you are in the test market check your e-mail because you might have a nice surprise – a $5/$25 coupon!

You can learn more about this program HERE.  If you are in the test market let us know what your experience is like!

I’ll have to check again, but when I first read about this the “rules” said they wouldn’t accept coupons for items purchased on this program.

That’s kind of funny since they are sending out a $5/$25 to people in the test markets to use. LOL. But with Walgreens nothing surprises me! 🙂

Well, if they don’t take coupons I won’t participate but this would be amazing if it works. I walked out of the Walgreens last Sunday because they were slow and unhelpful. “Did you find everything you need?” “No, I didn’t” “Oh” What the heck kind of customer service is “oh”?

I think the policy is they won’t let you use mfg coupons with this program. Too bad! They already let me shop for free and/or pay me to shop I guess I can carry it out to my own car! LOL!

Mfg coupons can be used if you pick up your order at the photo counter. The $5 off $25 offer is available even curbside (per the instructions in the email). I’ll have to give it a try.
