I have just a few updates to report from my trip today. None of my updates effect the scenarios I posted yesterday so if plan on using them you don’t need to make any adjustments.
RIGHT GUARD & DRY IDEA
I will say I was pleased my store was stocked with deodorant this morning! All the Right Guard (except the clinical) was priced at under $4.49 which is the maximum the B1G1 coupon allows. However, the roll on Dry Idea was priced at $4.99 at my store. So just make sure you are picking up deodorant that is $4.49 or less if you want the entire price covered by the B1G1 coupon.

SECRET/OLD SPICE REGISTER REWARD DEAL
Sadly, the Old Spice Fresh Collection Products are not included in the deal. So the coupon for the FREE Secret it a no go. You can still get them for $1.66 each after the -$1/2 Old Spice from the P&G Proud Sponsor of Moms booklet and the $1 RR. And of course you can always buy Right Guard. 😉

You know how crazy those P&G Register Rewards can be! Well Head & Shoulders appears to be rolling! I didn’t try it (I’m waiting for some $1/1 coupons) but Melissa and Georgina both e-mailed me to let me know it rolled for them! Woo Hoo! Hope it keeps rolling all week! (Thanks Melissa and Georgina!)

Hi Christie-I went this morning and bought Aussie Moist Shampoo 13.5 oz for $2.99 and used the B1 Aussie/Herbal Essences free coupon for a free 6.8 oz Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse.
The Catalina spit out a $3 coupon off any Almay mascara and a $3 coupon off any Almay foundation, eye product or lip product. Of course I also received the $1 RR back as well.
The only other item I bought was a Herbal Essences Hello Hydration 13.5 oz conditioner on clearance for $1.99 and a Bandit-O’s bands.
April – That’s awesome! I bought Herbal Essence and got nothing!
I also got the $3 off Almay when I bought Aussie…but I got those yesterday also when I picked up some more Kotex.
My store had the NyQuil Cold and Flu Vanilla Cherry 6oz Liquid for $1.39 and the Vicks 44 Custom Care Berry Burst 6oz Liquid for $1.79. I used the $1.50 off any Vicks from the P&G booklet.
And the Robitussin Cough & Cold 4oz was priced $1.69 and the August Coupon Booklet took off $1.00
The Visine is still $3.99 and I used the Aug Coupon Booklet and the $2 off coupon from last weeks inserts to get more free Visine.
Can I use my Secret RR that I earned last week to pay for the Head and Shoulders this week and still get the Head and shoulders RR? I think both products are Proctor and Gamble, but both RR apparently roll, so will this work?

I bought two of the right guard deodorants and used the B1G1 coupon…. the cashier said it would only take off half the amount since they are already B1G1. Since it was 4.49 it ended up being 2.25 for two.
I bought 2 BOGO RG Total Defense 5 and used $3 off, paid $1.49 for 2. The price was $4.49 each.
just have a question about the b1g1 right guard. i tried to buy just 2 and use the b1g1 coupon. i thought i should get both for free, but it rang up $1.62. what am i doing wrong? do i have to buy something else?

YESTERDAY, AT MY LOCAL WALGREENS, THEY WOULD NOT TAKE THE BOGO MANUFACTURER COUPON ON THE RIGHT GUARD, AS THEY SAID IT WAS ALREADY BOGO
Some stores will let you use the B1G1 on a B1G1. Some stores will not. It sounds like some stores are coming up with their own bizarre interpretation of the coupon. If your store won’t take the B1G1 on a B1G1 then I would try buying (4) and using (1) B1G1 FREE coupon.
That way the store is giving you (2) FREE and you are paying FULL price for the other (2) which is what your B1G1 FREE coupon would apply to. So you would be paying for (1) and getting (4).
When did the BOGO on Right Guard come out. I missed it 🙁

I’m sorry about your recent visit to your local Walgreens. We try to educate our employees on the the correct use of all manufacturer coupons.
Unfortunately it sounds like they might not of explained the correct use of your BOGO manufacturer coupon. To use it as the manufacturer intended
you would need to buy at least one item to get one free. Since the item was already on sale for BOGO, the best deal would be to purchase four. This
way you would get four for the price of one.

I just bought 5 of these coupons from mycouponhuner. Hopefully it gets here before the end of the week.
Are people having any luck using this coupon when purchasing 2 bars? Does it beep at the checker? I always go in and try to find that checker that looks like he/she will scan anything I shove in front of them.
I mean, b1g3 is a good deal, but b0g2 is better…
Hey Jeff – I bought 6 yesterday. The coupon only beeps in the sense that it prompts the cashier to enter an amount. It really varies from store to store but I had no problems.
My Wags wouldn’t take my BOGO on the Right Guard either. The cashier was rude so I just took my coupon over to CVS (who also has it BOGO this week) and got both free!
I got 20 free yesterday in 2 transactions with no problems here in san antonio
I love that the head and shoulders is rolling!!!! woohooo! My hubby loves head and shoulders and I refuse to pay $5.00 a bottle for shampoo…but I picked up 6 bottles today and 2 small fillers (baby shampoo in the clearance section for .69 cents each) and paid $6.05 oop with a $2 rr after all was said and done. Now I can handle that 🙂 If you take out the baby shampoo….I paid 4.67 for 6 bottles of head and shoulders and got a $2 rr
Where do I find the P&G Proud Sponsor of Moms booklet?
Only one cashier at one of the 3 Wags stores here in town will never let anyone use B1G1 coupon when an item is B1G1 free on sale in the Wags ad. She’s just like that. Every other cashier is fine. The coupon scans at the register properly and everything.
I just ask for the manager and have always had the B1G1 coupon accepted then. My suggestion – ask for the manager.
