Friends & Family Discount Next Week!

by Christie Bisbee on July 30, 2010

Here’s what I saw on the Walgreens Facebook page tonight! Yippee! We should see a Friends and Family discount available next week.So you might want to do most of your shopping then.

The Friends and Family discount is usually the employee discount which is 15% off.  If you don’t “like” Walgreens on Facebook it might be a good time to do it HERE.

For the Friends and Family discount that will be available next week do we need a coupon or anything?

Yes, I’ll let you know more when I know more but it looks like you’ll be able to print it on facebook!

I have had issues printing from facebook before. I would click on print and wait, and wait, and wait, and nothing would print. do you know what the issue is there? I missed out on 1.50 cheesecake! Thanks.

Maria – Hopefully we’ll have another option for the F&F discount to print!

Just a head’s up if you’re planning on doing the “Get a $3 RR WYB $11+ of Participating Products…” deal. The 15% is taken off of each item (not at the end), so you’ll need to keep that in mind when you’re adding up to $11 worth of products. HTH

Also, if this discount follows the ‘normal’ discount given to the employees, then it is 20% off all Walgreens brand items!

Had this poor checker, I think it was her first week on the job. I gave her the 15% off coupon before she rang up anything (as that’s when she needed to scan it… but I’m not going to tell her how to do her job..) she scanned all the items, the 15% off coupon didn’t work, instead of canceling it, she cashed the order out, gave us our $10 RR. Then rang up the order again, with the 15% discount, and again gave us the $10 RR… Like I said, I’m not going to tell her how to do her job. 🙂
