The irony of this week is that although there aren’t many Register Reward deals there are some fabulous fillers! I was very happy with the $.29 notepads, $.29 rulers and $.09 highlighters. I usually stock up on school supplies this time of year and donate what we won’t use at one of the local school supply drives. If you would like to do the same this is a great week for it!
Here are some additional tips for this week…
* My store has added an additional school supply section in the center of the store. I didn’t realize that until I had been looking for $.09 highlighters for 10 minutes. I found many of the specially priced school supplies in that section.
*The hearing aid battery deal worked perfectly! If you or no one you know can use these, consider buying them as a donation. They are normally an expensive item and any charitable organization that helps seniors or the hearing impaired would be very happy to have them!
*If you are going to do the Neutrogena Clinical deal, make sure you don’t buy the starter kit, it’s not included in the rebate. The SPF 30, Night and Eye are included.
*If you have any issue with the Nabisco cracker coupon point out to the cashier that the coupon does not have any size restrictions. It’s for ANY Nabisco cracker.
*If you can’t find the Reach or the Celsius and have expiring Register Rewards don’t stress out. Go ahead and pick up some things you need and can use.

I wish the hearing aid deal went better for me. The cashier was on a vengeance to not let me use my coupons 🙁 Luckily I had a print out of an email at home from corporate clearly stating you CAN use two coupons on a BOGO free promo. So she was very mad when I brought it back to complete my purchase. **SIGH** I just don’t have good luck at Wags, CVS is much easier to shop at!! Thanks for your website though, it definitely has made it easier to shop there!
I tell you I was so livid at my Walgreens this morning. I printed out a coupon on the Walgreens website (the click here to print more coupons) It was for 5 Penway Composition books for $1. Well it kept beeping and no one knew of the deal. I asked them if they had a computer so I can show them exactly how I found it on their site. The manager was rude and said that they had received e-mails about these type of coupons and that they should not honor them! WOW I was hot, but I kept my cool…and left. It was the only thing I was going to buy, so I lost my trip. Should I call the Walgreens customer service number??
Yes Rosy – You should! Walgreens puts out those internet coupons because they want you to use them! Geez. Did they try putting in the 4 digit code? Did they check to make sure it was the same product? Regardless of what the problem was they should have NEVER treated you that way!
May I know if your store has the $7.99 airwick 50% off. I was told it was for the $14.99 airwick only.

Mary – I think it might just be the larger sizes as that’s what’s pictured in the ad, but if I see the smaller compact one on sale I’ll let you know.
Darn expiring RRs! I was sad until I realized that the Stouffer’s meals cost what they do at my grocery store. I buy a couple of them a week at full price anyway, so I might was well use my RRs on them! I’ll have a freezer full by the end of the week–there’s just so little at Wags that I’d buy at full price.
I just came back from Walgreens and I couldn’t get RR from Suave. The cashier said I used too many coupons and you had to pay $10 after coupons to eligible. I knew she was wrong, but I couldn’t do anything b/c I was with my fussy baby and a customer was waiting behind me, so just paid and got home. I guess it might be using one of my $2 RR(I don’t remember from what deal)caused no RR. So now I’m wondering, if I returned Suave $10 worth items,and they refund me, then rebuy them with cash, may produce RR? Do you think if this works?
Oh, and I found 2-pack of Nexcare waterproof bandages on clearance for $1.50 today.(regular price was $3 something) I grabbed one without coupon, but will go back and get some more with $1 off coupons.
I went today to get more Celsius Tea- But it didn’t print the RR- The manager told me the deal was over. They did ring up $4.99 still but no RR.
Tiffany – The manager is wrong. The dates are through the end of the month. I bought it today and got my RR. Did your other RR print?
I had a great trip to Wags today! The cashier recognized me and chitchatted some and had no problem with my Nabisco coupon. I wish all my transactions always went as smoothly as this morning.

My Suave RR didn’t print either! I told the manager and he looked at my receipt to verify that I did buy $10 worth of Suave products and he then went to the back and printed out a form to mail in my receipt and they would mail me my RR! It’s worth going back in to your store and talking to the Manager about it!
Did you guys who didn’t get the Suave RR happen to use the coupon for the FREE Suave?
I’m new the the wild4wags scene. Please tell me how to get RR. I searched Walgreens site and don’t see any info. . . Do I need to register or get a card?

I got a good deal today on Nutrigrain bars at Wags. Don’t remember seeing this posted so thought I would share. They were on sale 2/$5 and were included in the Kellogg’s monthly RR deal. I had q’s in todays red plum (7/11) for $0.75, so I got them for $0.75 a box after q and RR. My 6yo has been begging for these and I have been trying to hold him off for a deal so we were both very happy with this.

Karin – I’m not 100% sure but I’m curious to see how the suave RR is coded and the free coupon are coded. I have the coupon but not the suave RR. (waiting for my coupons!) When I get my hands on a Suave RR (or if anyone wants to take a picture of one) I’m wondering if that Suave Free product coupon is coded similarly as the RR that pops out. Making the cat machine think you paid with a Suave RR when you use the FREE product coupon. It’s a hunch.

Thanks for the response on the tea- The tea was the only item I bought that would produce a RR. I returned the tea right after, so I think I will try the other Walgreens we have here this week. I always have bad luck at that Walgreens.

I would call the catalina company instead of mailing a rebate form. I did that on the aloe socks and it took them less than a week to mail my register rewards.

I hear the Dove RR deal isn’t working anymore…went to Walgreens this morning and all the signs were gone. Anyone know if the deal’s over?

The corporate batches of ad tags they gave us for the dove deal were incorrect, so most stores probably had no signs up for the deal at all. The ad tags that printed simply said the price of the item and you get back 5 rr, not mentioning you have to spend 15 dollars worth!!
To Employee:
Do you know how much needs to be purchased in order to get the RR to print? Will it be 4 items or purchase of $15?
