Today when I tried this it beeped (even though I used my internet coupon first). I thought it was because the insoles didn’t have sales tax so I was a penny too short, but when I got my receipt (my cashier made it go through), I saw that the $5 off was down as MFGC — not a Walgreen’s coupon. It made me look harder at the July coupon book, and all of the coupons that I saw say the same thing — perhaps why some people are having trouble using coupons for the Dentyne gum. I hope I didn’t get my cashier in trouble. I don’t remember the previous books being manufacturer’s coupons. This is going to cut down on some deals 🙁
The two Wags in my town told me they cant stack their coupon book and manufacture coupons anymore, in fact he said it was impossible the machine would not let them override it.
Did they even try? Did you show them any of the ads where they encourage you to do that from the inserts? I suggest you carry those with you. Where are you by the way?
Did anyone out there send in for the Pilot rebate in April? I have and still have not received it.
