Ok, shopping at Walgreens is nothing if not eventful! So, the soap bars are working in many places again today! So either they changed their minds (wouldn’t that be nice) or this is different in different stores!
So if you went yesterday and it didn’t work, let us know what your results were today! Fingers crossed for everyone but proceed with caution.

lastnight this deal did not work so this afternoon I tried another walgreens 20 minutes more south of the one I previously tried and……IT WORKED!!! YAY

It worked for me when I bought 4 soaps. I didn’t try again with 3.
Worked for me tonight 3 times at my store in Maryland – first time I’ve found the bars in stock in my store – woot!
It worked for me today in The Villages, FL for the bar soap and the lipbalm.
Worked for me today twice in southern CA.
Still could not find single bars in my store, but did try the 3 bar packs for $4.79/pack (on sale this week). These do work and generate the $10 RR. If you love the soap and can’t do the single bars, you can get an OK deal on the multipack soaps (~$.49 per bar after RR if you buy 3 multipacks). The manager at my store was really nice and PROMISED that if it didn’t work, he’d make it work! Luckily it worked. The signs for the single bars are still up so I am sure the management would honor the RR. I’m still be on the look out for the single bars…more than free is always nice.
i was showing my sister-in-law how wags worked and i went to the store and got two chapsticks and one bar and paid .02 after i used a $6 rr and then i didn’t get the 10 rr. Management came up and checked it out and then i had to do a mail in rebate to walgreens if i wanted to get my 10 rr. Is that weird?? I think it might have been the store because they had a lot of chapsticks and bars left.
I went Friday and there were only 2 single bars, so I grabbed those two and a facial scrub. Both had signs under them stating that I would get $10 RR, but it didn’t print. The manager was very nice about it and made it work for me. I’m new to Walgreens and soooooo excited =] Wish I would’ve gotten in on it earlier in the week instead of waiting so long!
Does anyone know how long the deal is lasting? Did it end today or is it still going through the 26 like it was supposed to originally?
I just got back home from my Sunday Walgreens shop and the signs for Neutrogena are still posted and continue to read “through June 26”. I’m guessing if the signs are still up without a retraction that you should get the deal. Pay with cash, though, so if the transaction fails, you can get an easy return. Hope it works for you!
Worked for me with 3 bar soaps and last week’s price after a rain check today! Made $7!!!
Since the single bars of soap are working again for the register reward, does that mean that the trial size face wash is working again also??? I would love if they were.
