There is another monthly Register Reward deal I came across…
Get a $1.50 RR WYB $5+ of Oral-B Toothbrushes OR
Get a $3 RR WYB $9+ of Oral-B Toothbrushes
The CrossAction Gentle Clean is pictured but there are no specifics for types of Oral-B. It does not say if the electronic toothbrushes also work for the deal.
Here are some possible coupon match ups for you…
-B1G1 Oral-B Pulsar Manual Toothbrush Single Packs 06-06-10 PG – (valid up to $6.99)
-$1/1 Crest Toothpaste (4 oz+), Crest Rinse (440 mL+), or Oral-B manual toothbrush, any – Rouge, May 2010
-$10/1 Oral-B Professional Care, Smart Series, or Pulsonic Electric Toothbrush, Any – Parade, June 13, 2010

I purchased 2 Pulsar manual toothbrushes and used the BOGO coupon. My total was well over the $9 threshold but the $3 RR did not print.
I know this isn’t really relevant to this specific post, but I was wondering how you find out about these deals when they seem to be unadvertised?
Didn’t work for me either.
Do you know if the cashiers are supposed to do the walgreens coupons first? I tried doing the Reach toothbrush BOGO, the $1 off Reach coupon, and the $3 store coupon. On the first transaction she was fine with all but the $1 off. On the second, she did my BOGO at 1.49 even though i gave her the store coupon last. I didn’t notice it until I got home. I called to ask a about it and that same cashier answered the phone. She was very rude and told me that’s the way it is LEGALLY done. Totally accusing me of trying to be a con artist. `
Jill – She was just being difficult. If you hand over your Walgreens coupon first most of the time your regular MQ won’t work even though you are supposed to be able to use a Walgreens ad coupon and a MQ together. They are going to be reimbursed by the Manu. regardless so you’d think they’d rather get reimbursed $4 rather than $1.50! So, really she just cost Walgreens $2.50. There’s no “law” here. I hate it when they start throwing that kind of stuff around. Next time ask her if she’s an attorney. 😉
Good one Christie.
I have been told by our cashiers (who are generally very helpful and friendly) that they are required to use the Wags coupons first and then the MQs or they get in trouble.
Our particular area (Oregon) has just gone to “clipless” coupons too, so we now have no choice. The clipless coupons are the exact same in-ad coupons, but when you swipe your Wags card (which you have to do to get the coupons), they automatically come off of the product you buy. They also count as a “real” coupon as far as the item-to-Q requirement goes. I’m guessing it won’t be long before all Wags go to the clipless coupons.
