Walgreens.com – Nivea B1G1 Eligible

by Christie Bisbee on June 13, 2010

THIS DEAL IS OVER, HOPE YOU GOT IT!

Kelly, one of my readers, posted some interesting information on my Facebook page HERE. Walgreens.com is listing the Nivea Active 3 as B1G1 FREE Eligible. Interesting… you can check that out HERE.

On-line promotions and in-store promotions aren’t always the same but I wonder if this deal was some kind of overlap of the two. We’ll have to see if it’s still listed that way tomorrow!

(Thanks so much Kelly & We Use Coupons for the tip!)

My gal at Walgreens today told me that a lady came in with a bunch of Neutrogena soap bars she bought on Walgreens.com and returned them and then repurchased them to generate the RR!!

She also bought ALL of the Schick Hydro razors they had. This is the same lady they have problems with clearing the shelves of all the RR items. She also complains that they never have enough and gets mad of there are no more on the truck that comes later in the week.

I don’t know if you have people like that at tha Walgreens you shop at but it annoys me!! Sorry just had to vent!!

Ps…maybe she reads this blog…guess one can hope!

Jeez, that’s the kind of stuff that they should be putting limits on, so no one can clear the shelves!

Wow, Kristi, where are you at?

I always feel bad, like I’m shelf-clearing. Around here, if I get three of something, it would clear the shelf half the time, and that’s what I actually need/use! I usually will get one or two and then wait a few days, if there’s still some left, then I go back. On Saturday night, I’ll nab a few more if I can get out (and need them).

I don’t understand why Wags doesn’t stock enough of the register reward items… they surely know in advance what promotions are coming up, right? It seems that half the time they only have a handful of the products, despite the shelf clearers who show up first thing Sunday morning. It does get frustrating. I usually have to go back on Saturday to get some of the promotional items. I think Wags should just plan ahead and really stock up on the upcoming sale items. Needed to vent too. :o)

I think the self-clearing problem is 2-fold. Walgreens in general, does a poor job of stocking shelves with hot ticket items, and some people buy EVERYTHING they have. While its not up to me how many items another person wants to buy, these are the situations that force stores to set limits, then we all suffer. Its a delicate balance we all need to work on! I love a sweet deal as much as the next person, but I’m also realistic about our needs, and try to have a mutual respect for my fellow shoppers!

oops! I means “shelf-clearing” not “self-clearing”

Morgan, I totally agree! Like you, I love a sweet deal… but I also don’t need to “buy” every item on the shelf. I wish other people felt the same way… and that perhaps Wags did a better job of stocking… maybe they should put out a certain amount of the hot products every day rather than all at once.
