the whole “offer while supplies last” makes me a bit weary about this deal.

$.99 is a great price for whitening rinse. So if you are going to buy it anyway, just submit for the rebate. I’m sure it’s one per household so what do you have to loose? Worst case scenario you are out a stamp and best case scenario you make $9. I’m willing to risk a stamp for it.

I’m kinda new at the whole rebate thing. What exactly does it mean “to put toward your favorite white must have item”? You have to buy a white pice of clothing? Do you have to spend it somewhere in particular? Sorry if I’m showing my stupidity here. Someone please set me straight. Thanks!

Melissa-

I don’t know for sure about this rebate, but usually you receive a prepaid Mastercard or Visa debit card that can be used almost anywhere (except gas pumps) towards any purchase.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I too have no clue what the phrase, “to put toward your favorite white must have item for summer” means either, and good to what store/s???? (I’m thinking anywhere since it said debit card….) Please help!

It doesn’t mean anything, really. Since they’re giving you a $10 debit card, you can spend it on anything/anywhere. :]

That’s the same thing I said when I bought my free ones from target 🙂

What does (use 44714) mean? Is that the zip code you enter? I only get a $1.00 off coupon.

Christie June 12, 2010 at 6:00 pm

Yes, it’s the zip code. You’ll find a $1/1 and a $2/1 at that zip!

what does “In ad Q” mean? where do i go to get that 3/1 coupon?

Reply

Christie June 12, 2010 at 7:22 pm

Q = coupon. So it’s a coupon that will be in the ad itself. It’s a Walgreens store coupon. You don’t even need to cut it out, just have them scan it AFTER you give them your Manufacturer coupon. At Walgreens always give manufacturer coupons first, then store coupons. Hope that helps!

If I circle the product name on the receipt what is “proof of purchase”. The price of the item?

Reply

Christie June 12, 2010 at 8:06 pm

Usually that’s the UPC. I’d cut out the UPC or take the wrapper off and mail it as my proof of purchase.

Kathryn June 12, 2010 at 9:20 pm

Trying to get the proof of purchase off is a pain. It is a sticker on the product so you have to peel very, very carefully.

How do you get the rebate? Where is the form and where do you send it?

Reply

Christie June 13, 2010 at 1:05 am

No form for this one, just mail it to the address provided.

proof of purchase on this rebate means to just circle the product on the receipt…You do not need to send in the UPC code…

I was just at my local Wags and it was regularly priced $6.49 so after taxes I paid $1.66 with coupons. So hopefully I can get in on this rebate. I guess it’s just a guessing game to know if you’ll get it????

$6.99 in NY! YIKES! I hope this rebate works! I don’t even use it! LOL just enjoy the thrill of the hunt I guess! LOL-
No $3 hang tag Q either!

Off to try the Neutrogena and Nivea deal now!

$6.49 here in Illinois too. And they had a heck of a time getting the $3 in ad Q to go through; had to get a manager for that. Anyhow, hope this rebate is worth all that hassle.

My Wags (in TX) had a hard time getting both coupons to take also! The manager even said we couldn’t use both of them, I said, “I’m not buying it.” LOL And they eventually did get it to work, but I couldn’t believe he tried to tell me I couldn’t use a Man. Q and a store Q! Ha!

I got my $10 American Express card in the mail today. Be careful because it looks like junk mail. The return address is in style magazine and then inside there is another sealed envelope with an american express logo on the back. I almost tossed it thinking it was a credit card application. But I decided to open it to see if there was anything in there that required shredding. I’m sure glad I did because it was a $10 debit card. Honestly, I thought this would never work, expecially since I got my listerine free at Target after my coupon.

Thanks Suzette, I was just checking to see if anyone had received theirs yet…I did mine right away and haven’t seen anything yet.

I mailed my rebate 06/24 and havent received anything (that I know of). After reading Suzettes post, Im wondering if I threw it away. Suzette, was there a phone number that came with your card? I’d love to check on the satus of the rebate if that is even possible.
