Christie, I got the glade scented oil candles the other day, they were $2.79. I used a $2/1 I found in Good Housekeeping magazine and also the $1/1 from the paper. When the cashier scanned the $1/2 from the monthly booklet it beeped. It would not go through. The manager had the cashier price modify one of them down a buck instead. I dont know why it wouldnt work for. The picture shows the jar candles and the cashier wondered if that was why it didnt work.. but they all say “scented oil candles” on the packaging just as the coupon says. Just wanted to let you guys know incase the same happens to you.
Think I am going to go back to see if they’ve been marked down further. I love these!

I am so glad I checked my email before going out. Our Wags had same deal, but a few of the candles were further reduced to $1.19. So I added some Haribo Gummy Bears as filler and used my coupons for those, too. But as you noted, the coupon in the Sept booklet didn’t come off. The manager adjusted the difference.Then to top that, our WalMart is now doubling coupons up to .98 and doubling competitors coupons too. Yay!

Yes, they did. Although when the cashier scanned it, the coupon from the booklet kept beeping. The manager came and adjusted the price to reflect the coupon. He was very nice about it.
Thank you for posting this, I scanned some and they were 99cents, free after coupon!! Got the 5 they had left.
