They don’t say that they exclude lip products (and last time I checked my lips were on my face) but there is some debate on if these should be used on lip stuff, so I’ve created the scenario with the printable instead.

Last week I bought 6 of the clearance lip glosses (6 @ 2.59 = 15.54) then I used three $5/2 MQs but the $5 RR didn’t print. I paid $1.48 oop (with tax). I spoke to the assistant manager and she tried to
scan them again at the Photo desk and still the RR didn’t print. I ended up returning them and thankfully I got back $16.48 in cash.
I’d like to do this deal as I still have three $5/2 coupons left but I wanted to find out if anyone else had issues getting the $5 RR to print? Thanks!
When I bought things with the orange clearance the rr never printed.
It seems in my experience that they have not gotten smarter and things on clearance will NEVER print a RR.
That’s what I have found since Jan.1 and those new orange tags.
you’re cracking me up with the “last time I checked, lips were on my face” last year I had a dispute with a cashier at cvs over a Revlon $1/1 color coupon. I wanted to buy nailpolish,the coupon beeped and he said it was not for the item…….I had to argue that nailpolish was color and after a minute he finally pushed it through 🙂
I have no ink so I cannot print the 3/2 loreal q does anyone know of any other loreal q’s? and a different way to get a good deal.TIA
I was able to do the deal 3 times each (for a total of 18 lip glosses at 3 different stores) with the $5/2 coupon, and my RR printed last week on 1/2.
Mandi, the $5/2 coupon is on the front page of the 1/2/11 RP. You can also check the coupon database at couponmom.com. Good luck, and I hope this works for everyone. Maybe the kinks just need to be worked out.
Honestly SOMETIMES you have to tell cashiers simple things like that your lips are on your face that last time ya looked. lol read my post on my experience at WAGS on the Wild for Wags Facebook page and you will understand WHY LOL
Lip Products aren’t considered face products. Simple as that.
I had the same thing happen at my Walgreens: no RR’s on CERTAIN clearance items, but would print on others (so it’s hit & miss). Also, I tried buying 3 Walgreens products to get the $3 RR, used previous RR (from different product) and it didn’t print the RR. Manager said it was because I didn’t actually spend $15. So, my question is: do you have to have them SUBTOTAL the amount before you use coupons?

My Wags which is SUPER COUPON FRIENDLY Wags, the cashier told me they had a meeting about that L’Oreal coupon and they were told NOT to take it for lip!
I got the lip conditioners with the $5/2 coupon specifically because they are merchandised with all of the face products, not any of the lip sticks or lip glosses. My cosmetics lady totally agreed with me and it was not a problem. I also did the deal again with the clearanced eye products and used the printable $2/1 Loreal eye Q from Redplum and some $2/1 Loreal eye Q’s that I got from MyCouponHunter. The RR printed for me each time and I used it to buy free after RR gummy vitamins!!

I just went tonight and bought 4 true match and 2 hip color pressos, used 3 $5/2 and the RR printed just fine. It was around $2.50 out of pocket and so I made money after the $5 RR!!!!! 🙂
It’d be great just to find any makeup on clearance in general. I checked at 2 different Wags and the shelfs are always wiped clean! If i could even get a handful of makeup i would be able to tell you if it worked for me :/
