First Aid Kits on Clearance!

by Christie Bisbee on June 3, 2010

Remember those First Aid Cases that were FREE when you bought (2) participating products? My store had a TON of these on clearance for $1.24! Remember these come with coupons in them for the following products…

They are all Manufacturer’s Coupons and they all Expire on 12-31-10
-$2/1 Bengay Product
-$1/1 Neosporin Product
-$2/1 Neosporin Lip
-$1/1 Band-aid brand adhesive bandages, Any
-$3/2 Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Brand First Aid Products
-$4/2 Cortaid Products
-$2/1 Benadryl Cream, Spray or Gel

They are labeled on the clearance sign as J&J First Aid Kits but I’ll have to take a closer look to see if they are actually a Johnson & Johnson item. If they are then that means you could use the -$.75/1 Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Product, Any – 05-16-10 RP.

If you find them at clearance at your store, let us know!

They had a HUGE display on an end cap near where the band-aids are.

Florida! 🙂 Maybe it’s because 1/2 the town leaves during the summer and they have to move this stuff but I love those orange tags!

I checked two in spfld, ma and they has a preprinted barcode label over the box upc. I found one without it and it would not ring at the register

They are still on display as free when you purchase 2 items at the Birmingham stores and will not ring up unless you purchase 2 first aid items. I’m keeping those coupons in my wallet …. it’s just a matter of time!

Yep, when they realize they are stuck with 50 First Aid Kits, you’ll probably find the same!

The First Aid Cases were marked $4.98 at my Walgreens in IN – and there were lots of them.

Not to be a pain, have you ever seen the same items on clearance at more than 2 different stores???

Yes. Sometimes it’ll happen at different times so I might see one store put something on clearance and then it’ll take a week or two and I’ll see it somewhere else. Sometimes you’ll find the clearance everywhere. Like the lip gloss that was on clearance everywhere about a week or 2 ago or the covergirl mascara that was on clearance everywhere or the Nivea lip balm that was clearance. If you see something you’d be interested that someone finds on clearance just grab the necessary coupons and have them with you on your next trip that way you’ll be prepared if you see it.

My two local stores still have these on display as a GWP. I will be watching for them to be marked down. My stores rarely mark things down on the shelf, they have one section in the back where they manually clearance stuff. I rarely, if ever, find the same stuff at either store and I have yet to find anything on clearance that I see on the walgreen’s blogs I visit. These posts are generally a HUGE YMMV for me.

Many of the products on the first aid display with these kits have $1/1 J&J peelies attached!

These were just recently reduced to $1.24 at one of the stores here in NE Ohio. They don’t say J&J on them, but when they ring up, they are listed as a J&J product. The $3/2 IP worked great on them – my cashier adjusted it to 2.48 for 2 of them. As noted in the original post, there are additional $3/2 MQs inside. Good luck finding them in your neck of the woods.

Is this just basically an empty container to store first aid items in or does it come with product inside? Anyone know? Thanks!
