I’m not sure where else to post this question. You seem extremely familiar with walgreen’s and very knowledgeable about potential problems. I had the worst retail experience in my life tonight at walgreen’s and am not sure how to handle it.
In a nutshell, the prices were wrong, they didn’t know how to deal with coupons, the manager called me a filthy name as I was leaving. Also, because none of the prices were right and the RRs didn’t print, I asked to just return all my items. She voided the transaction and refused to give me a receipt. By not refunding my card, Walgreen’s is now in possession of the items I meant to buy AND my money.
I’ve alerted my bank, obviously, but is there a good/better/best way to approach upper level walgreen’s management about this? I can deal with pricing errors but not with profanity and theft 🙂

Geez, that sounds like a terrible experience. The good news is if your manager did a total void everything should be immediately returned to your account. I’d go ahead and check my account to be sure but that’s what should happen. I’d recommend contacting Walgreens corporate. You should get a response pretty quickly. I’ve had situations where the RR didn’t print or a price rings up differently than what’s in the ad but that’s NO excuse for being disrespectful and rude!!!!! I hope you have a different Wags near you that you can shop at instead. And I love that you donate your extra items to a shelter! Keep up the good work and I’m sorry this happened to you!
