Ok If you use just 1 .50 cent coupon isn’t the total $1.49, not .99? or can you use 2 .50 cent coupons?
Store coupons automatically apply to one per item. So it will automatically take off $1 if you buy two. 🙂

Left home a few minutes early this morning to do the 6 99 cent white tissue deal. can’t believe oop (incl tax) 2.17 and I get 5 Jingle Cash. i noticed that these can be used anytime (meaning now) whereas the Super Jingle Cash you get when you spend $25, $50 etc you can spend starting Dec 12.
I’m definitely going to buy some gift wrap and I always find what i have overstocked to donate…especially cereal. 🙂

The coupon says Manufacturers Coupon and it also says Limit one coupon per customer per offer. I am thinking that it may only take off $.50 and YMMV on whether they will take more than one in the transaction. I may be wrong.
Yes, I noticed that it says manufacturer’s coupon too, so I printed two just in case. Not sure if they will take two though due to the one per offer. Not exactly sure what that means.

I just tried the coupon and it beeped but the cashier entered it manually for me and it only took off 1.50cent.
This coupon beeps on me every time but the cashiers have no problem honoring it. The $1.99 wrapping paper from Color Studio is a Division of Hallmark. The cashiers manually entered it for me so it only took off $0.50 instead of $1. Still a good deal tho!
Tried it and it beeped. My manager says it’s probably for Hallmark brand (not Color Studio, division of Hallmark). So a no go here. =(
Didn’t work for me either. Beeped, so cashier entered it for one .50. When I tried to argue that it was a Wags q and should take off for all of them, the manager kept saying it’s a MQ since that is what is says on there. I said it wasn’t really because of the barcode but he just looked at me like I was a moron so I had to pay out more than planned but still a good enough deal for wrapping paper.
Just to let you all know, I bought 2 rolls of paper, coupon was put thru, got $2.00 jingle back. Then tried to buy 2 more, using coupon, did not give jingle back. The manager told the cashier to just give me the 2 rolls for free. Then I tried to buy the tissue paper, added other items so they couldn’t say that I had too many coupons, the jingle did not print again. So I ended up spending $3.50 for 6 tissue paper and 4 rolls of wrap. So beware, it may not work.
The IVC books have the special 4 number barcodes, but they are actually MQ (as in Wag gets reimbursed from the company).
Can you use the $5hallmarkRR to pay for 2 wrapping papers (and other stuff) and still get a 2RR?

Actually, it DOESN’T WORK on the paper shown in the coupon either.
the coupon does beep, and at first the cashier told me that it was beeping because the BOGO wrapping paper is not Hallmark (only a DIVISION of Hallmark) but then the manager tried it on the regular (expensive) Hallmark paper, and that didn’t work either, so they accepted my coupons for the BOGO free paper. The coupon is printed off of Walgreen’s website, so obviously it is a legitimate coupon. There just is some problem with the coupon itself. It will not work for any of the Hallmark paper.
The best deal of the morning was the look on the cashier’s face. I tried to use the $.50 coupon for the wrapping paper and of course it beeped like everyone else is also reporting and she refused to take it. I let it go..hey, free anyway and two small children in tow, not going to fight this battle. Anyway…then it printed out the $2 HALLMARK register reward….when she saw that…priceless! Did she offer the $.50 return no, nor did I ask…but still priceless. 🙂

It beeped for me too but my cashier honored the coupon. One of my wrapping paper scanned at .67 cents and the other as .66 cents after coupons I paid .36 cents and got $2 jingle cash. I would love to go back for more but its 15 mins away.
Where do you find the 1.99 b1g1 wrapping paper? All I saw in my store was 3.99 a roll? Maybe I’m missing something here?
At my store it was with all the Christmas stuff. for some reason my 2RR did not print off. I wonder if it was b/c I did the tissue paper in the same transaction and I can’t get 2 hallmark RR’s at the same time?
Pam – I think you misunderstood. I wasn’t saying that it would work on the paper shown but that you could make a good argument that if the wrapping paper is actually printed on the coupon it was intended to be able to be used on the paper.
oh, I totally understand Christie—hope my comment didn’t come across the wrong way…I was just trying to make the point that it doesn’t appear to work on ANY hallmark wrapping paper at all, at least not the BOGO “division” of hallmark ones or the regular Hallmark branded papers, and you would think that it would at least work on the ones pictured. I understand (and appreciate) the good point you made 🙂

I’m also frustrated at Walgreens putting out a coupon that beeps so no matter what you use it on. So no matter what you’ll be told it’s for something else! Geez! I’m just trying to give you guys some extra ammo for the “discussion” with the staff. 😉
You almost have to bring a full price expensive wrapping paper too and say, ok then try it on here so they can see the darn thing just doesn’t work.
I used two of them today. They beeped but the cashier read the wording on the rolls of paper and it says “a division of Hallmark” and she pushed them through.
My coupon did not beep, but it did only take off $.50 and I was not allowed to use two.
The coupons at my store did beep but the manager had the cashier put it through as a manufacturer coupon.
By the way, when you go to print the coupons, just change the quantity
to how many rolls you will need.
I went it and it totally worked for me, no beeping or anything. I left Wags a very happy girl. 2 rolls of wrapping paper, 5 packs of tissue paper (because that was all they had) 6 pks of hershey kisses and a toothpaste. OOP $12.59 got RR $12.50 NOT TOO SHABBY!!! Thanks

Coupon beeped for me; manager refused to override it, so no deal.
Mgr said it was because of the Color Studio brand … which is a division of Hallmark. In the accounting world, at the end of the year, when Hallmark issues financial statements, it includes the income & expenses of all their divisions. But, for 50 cents it’s not worth the argument/battle.
Here’s my question tho. If I had purchased more stuff that would have been more than the $2 RR, would the coupon have worked?
I.E. 1.99 – .50 = 1.49 — $2 RR = .51 money maker (coupon BEEPs)
if I bought stuff that totalled let’s say 3.99 – .50 = 3.49 — $2 RR = 1.49 not a money maker. (no BEEPING?)
The coupon will beep because is NOT entered into the system.
Ugh so I did 4 transactions of 4 tissue 2 gift warp. each should have been 3.32 – $1 hallmark coupons. But the cashier was trying to be nice and just voided a roll of paper instead of give me two 50 cent coupons, so what happened was it voided the sale, making me get the $2 RR instead of the $5 one, and then it didnt even take off the $1 coupon–it took off zero b/c the wrapping paper was on bogo.
That is like $16 lost after 4 transactions. I didnt catch it until later. I would go back to the store and complain, but I’m afraid they will just be confused.
Just had 6 tissue @ 3/$1 using in ad Q give a $5 RR, then, at next store, after midnight (sat morning now) no RR at all print!! Tried it at another Wags down the road, and no RR for the tissue again! Argh! I made $2.86 on the first (paid $2.14 with tax) and then paid $4.28 for the next 2 transactions total, thus losing any profit from the first RR. I did get 18 packs of tissue for $1.42 when all was said and done..but would rather have had the $8+ MM for those! I considered taking 12 of the tissue back and just getting back my $2.14 for each set that didn’t generate, but hey, I’ve made lots of profit on my deals and just going to consider it a screaming deal on tissue! LOL, I guess the deal is dead? Just wanted to warn everyone in case the system is no longer generating a RR for the tissue!
Oh, and FYI, my revlon RR did print, so it wasn’t a system reboot issue I don’t think, where the registers reboot and no RR print around midnight and about 10 to 20 minutes after midnight.
@ Julie. That’s awful. I have to write out all my transactions – get a subtotal, and a total after coupons to make sure it is all right. I find that if I take the time to do this, even in the store, there are less surprises at the register and later at home when I look at my receipt!

I bought the 6 tissue paper and 2 pop pixies and use 2 pop pixies coupons and one $4 RR from PF Chang, the R&R did not print. I asked her and she said that does not qualify for a R&R. Should have I asked the manager?
I went to Walgreens this morning and was told that the Hallmark deal was dead. The cashier told me it was Hallmark’s call, not wags. The $.50 coupon was not working either. At least she told me before she rang everything up. Other customers had been in before me and it didn’t work for them either.
