by Christie- on May 13, 2014

Screen Shot 2014-05-13 at 9.39.22 AMThis is what I bought on Sunday. I started with $20.50 in Walgreens Register Rewards. Ended up getting $65.12 in products (before any manufacturer coupons) and paid $5.19 out of pocket. I thought the $25 was after Walgreens coupons and register rewards? I know it’s before Manu but I thought the register rewards was considered walgreens in this scenario.
Also, so you were able to do more than one transaction for the $25 get 5,000 pts? I did one yesterday and want to go back today.

Register Rewards are considered MQ. 🙂 And yes you can do it multiple times – just remember to have them scan the coupon each time. 😉

Those are points I used to pay with so I would have $0 out of pocket. 🙂

I was told you can’t pay with Balance Reward Points and get balance reward points back. That’s was I was told by employee.

That is correct Carolyn. She did these transactions all separate so she could spend some points to pay for the things that gave RR. RR are a manufacturer’s coupon, not a points thing. It is separate. You can use RR to pay for items, you just need a filler so you don’t make the register beep for having too many manufacturers coupons per items.

Where is the official statement from Walgreens about the points and store and manufacturer’s coupons use? I need the site and copy. I am so tired of my Walgreens all having different rules. They say you can’t and won’t even scan the points booster coupon till after all of my other coupons(yes, after manufacturer’s and store coupon).

The same happened to me today I was told I couldn’t use manufacture coupons with the points buster. And that if I wanted to use it have to be $25 after all coupons.

I stopped at a different walgreens Monday than 3 I normally go to and the cashier was rude!! Wouldn’t let me scan the points booster before the MQs so neither transaction I did worked out well for me and had my 7 week old not been crying I would have had a talk with the manager 🙁
