OMG! This Crest deal is an even bigger money maker than we thought! This week you’ll earn $4 cash rewards for buying two select Crest toothpastes priced at $3 each. There was a $3/2 coupon from a couple of weeks ago that expires on 9/26 that you can use on some of the $3 varieties including the Crest Gum Protection and the Extra Whitening pictured above. There is different Register Reward deal to earn $5 RR for spending $10 which was advertised in store last month in an endcap (see picture below). The Gum Protection was in that display last month. These toothpastes work for both of these deals! YAY!!! You must grab four. Even though the ad reads $4 cash rewards when you buy two “or more,” you will get $8 for buying four in the same transaction. This is usually not the case when it reads “or more.” There is a new $3/2 coupon that expires 7/31, which does not work on the $3 varieties, but you can use the insert coupons for a great money maker any way. Here’s another double dip I spotted at Walgreens this week. Select Energizer batteries are on a monthly sale of 25% off, plus this week Energizer is also B1G1 50% off. Both prices are working. For the AA/AAA Ultimate Lithium 4 pks there is a $3 Walgreens Coupon in the December book. Check your binders for a $1.25/1 MQ. My store was out of the AA 4pk but I did price check with the UPC code and they ring up $7.86 then the $3.93 before any coupons. My store does not carry the AAA 4pk, but if yours does, be sure to check to see if they ring up similarly.
The Energizer coupon was not in my insert so I could not try it. I don’t know if 2 insert coupons will scan. To my recollection on occasion, Energizer coupons beep on the last product. So if you grab 4 items, a maximum of 3 coupons can be used. It’s possible that only one coupon scans. Keep in mind this double dip price glitch is something that could be fixed, so grab this deal sooner rather than later.
