Yay! School Supplies clearance is here! I spotted select items already at 75% off at Walgreens. Select stationery items are B1G1 50% off this week, and I found the tiny Five Star spiral notebooks were also ringing up B1G1 50% off even though they were on clearance for $1.19. These were in the stationery section of the store (not the seasonal aisle) so be sure to look at both areas. You may want to grab a new binder for your coupons. I spotted two different FiveStar Mead Binders at 75% off and we still have thisFive Star Binder coupons available to print. The binders and the composition notebooks did not ring up B1G1 50% off. However, you may find some nice surprises at the register 🙂 .

Even items without any coupons were pretty good deals. The Frozen stationery regularly priced at $1.99 were down to 60¢. The Star or arrow shaped self-stick notes were 15¢ and the 2″x 2″ square sticky notes were 30¢. The tiny staplers were also 30¢. If you need fillers, be sure to visit school supplies clearance.
Clearance can vary by store, but be prepared and take your coupons with you. Here are some coupons that may come in handy…
Paper Mate products are on sale buy one get one free thru 5/30, but you can grab a nice deal on the mechanical pencils thru 5/17. There’s a Smartsource insert coupon for these pencils from March that will expire on the 17th. The mechanical pencils start at $1.99 for the 5ct. If you prefer the foam grip pencils, those are $2.79 for the 5ct. Your prices may vary slightly, but you cab grab some very nice deals!

I’ve been getting lots of questions about the Papermate pens and the Instant Value Coupon in the, April Coupon Book. It looks like Walgreens made a mistake and labeled the coupon Papermate Profile, but the coupon only works on the Papermate Profile Elite. You may want to try and have the cashier put it in manually for the cheaper pens; however, expect beeps and a headache, so it’s up to you.
However, if you do want some cheap pens without issues, here’s what you can do below. Please note the prices will vary by store, but I found the Profile Elite regularly priced at $3.19.
