Hulu Plus

Are you a current Uber Eats User in good standing? Check your Uber Eats app for an offer of two months of the HULU+ DisneyPlus + ESPN Bundle. I saw this in the offer banner in the Uber Eats up. I clicked on REDEEM and this other screen popped up with alphanumeric code filled in the blank space.

I used to be a HULU subscriber but was not currently, so I did not have the app in my phone. I simply went to my desktop and logged into my account, which was not active of course. In the Account Details page, I filled in the code from the APP Into the Gift or Promotional Code box on that page (lower left) and then I had to agree to the terms, and fill in a credit card number. Then once I logged in you can click on the link to ACTIVATE your DisneyPlus subscription, then once you do that one you’ll see a link to activate the ESPN (Use your same email and password). You are charged $1 just to see if your credit card is valid which should disappear in a couple of days. Once you check on your Account Details, you’ll see your upcoming charge is $15xx in September (after the 2 months are up). If you’re not interested in keeping it after the trial period, be sure to cancel before that date.

I don’t know if this is available for every user, but be sure to check your app! You don’t have to be an Uber One subscriber, and the details on the bottom read you just have to be an Uber Eats user in good standing. You must have placed an order within the past 90 days.

Tips for Saving on Your Cable Bill!

by Christie Bisbee on September 3, 2014

saving on your cable billLooking to save on that overpriced cable bill? Here are a few tips for saving on your cable bill that require minimal effort!

Tip #1 Consider Switching Providers: When was the last time you shopped around for a lower priced option? Providers often give deep discounts to new subscribers so it makes sense to periodically check what the competition is offering. For example, right now Dish is offering subscriptions as low as $19.99 a month, free installation and even three free months of Premium Channels for new customers. Just go HERE and enter your zip to see if your area is participating and what special offers are available to you.

Tip #2 Negotiate with Your Current Cable Company: Once you know what the competition is offering, consider calling up your current company to negotiate a lower rate. Companies want to keep you on as customers so once you are armed with the information on the competition you are in a better place to ask for a discount. Call your provider and ask for the customer retention department. Let them know you are considering switching providers and see if they can match or beat the competition. You’ll be surprised at what they can do! 😉

Amazon PrimeTip #3 Consider Amazon Prime: If you don’t watch much local programming you may want to consider Amazon Prime. You get unlimited streaming of thousands of movie titles, including some of the most popular shows and films.
