Grateful Giveaways #1: HP + $25 Snapfish

by Christie Bisbee on August 17, 2011

To kick of our back-to-school event, we have an exciting giveaway from HP and Snapfish!

HP ePrint technology allows students to print homework assignments, notes and more from their mobile device, the same way they would send an email, giving students the ability to print from virtually anywhere. Parents can also share their ePrint address with teachers and administrators, making it easy to communicate about upcoming conferences, report cards, permission slips or assignments on an unexpected sick day. ePrint-enabled printers start at just $79, perfect for busy families!

Snapfish by HP is the number one online personal publishing service, offering custom photo gifts and supplies! Snapfish isn’t just for photos or gifts; students of all ages can personalize their school gear to show off their personality and style:

  • Create personalized notebooks and notepads, starting at just $9.99
  • Frecklebox and Snapfish have partnered to offer personalized lunchboxes, complete with a chalkboard inside for messages and notes for $29.95.
  • College students can show their school pride with collegiate blankets, personalized mouse pads, calendar collage posters or photo skins for their devices.
  • See even more ideas in the back-to-school Snapfish store.

I was excited to get a new printer. I have a laptop and am usually going all over the house with it so having to stay connected to a printer in order to print coupons was a drag. The HP ePrint Printer enables me to easily print from anywhere in my house so I have no excuse not to print that hot coupon! Plus I am now able to easily scan documents and make copies. I’m happy with the quality of the prints and the printer was very easy to use and set up.

The printer is not very heavy, coming it at about 10 lbs which might be a consideration for college students. It’s also very reasonably priced, making it a good value. The printer doesn’t have a tray to catch the prints so I set it up in a way where they just sit on my desk until I’m able to get them, so it was not an issue for me. If you are looking for an affordable printer for household use you may want to check this one out.

I was also excited to have $25 to spend at Snapfish. I always enjoy being able to create custom gifts and Snapfish makes it easy and affordable to do!

#12 Giveaway – ZeroWater

by Christie Bisbee on May 23, 2011

Our last sponsor is great for those Dads who love to stay healthy by drinking water. What better gift for dad than one who was created by a father and son team? ZeroWater technology was developed to solve a mother’s fatigue from dragging gallons of bottled water jugs home from the grocery store. With the only in-home filtered water system that meets the FDA’s definition of purified bottled water, ZeroWater’s patented five-stage ion-exchange filter consistently delivers the only filtered water to measure 000 parts per million of total dissolved solids(TDS).

What does this mean to the average household? Great tasting water that is good for you, with ZeroWater’s patented technology you can have water free of heavy metals (arsenic, chromium-6, benzene, lead, aluminum, chlorine, chromine, copper, perchlorate, mercury).

The Zero Water 23 Cup Dispenser is a great money saving, convenient way to enjoy refreshing and good tasting water. I was able to put the dispenser in my fridge, which for me, is a lot easier than having to pull out a huge heavy pitcher. Because it’s so easy and tastes so good, we find ourselves drinking more water. It also meant less trips out to the recycle bin!

One of the coolest parts of using the ZeroWater dispenser is using the tool provided to measure the amounts (TDS) in your tap water. While Zero Water will reduce it to just that, Zero, Tap water has been found to be as high as 400 in some parts of the country! And even conventional filtered water comes in at about 115. Who wants to drink that stuff! If you are looking for fresh, healthy, tasty water for your family you may want to check out ZeroWater.

Our next prize is from the folks at ZeroWater® and is valued at $120

Each prize pack contains…

  • ZeroWater® 23-Cup Filter Dispenser
  • 8-pack filter refill pack
