I have 4 bins of paperwork and reciepts that I need to scan. I had 2 home invasions within a 30 day period about a year ago. At that time I had everything organized in my file cabinet. Guess what that is the wrong thing to do. They took all my warranty paperwork with the reciepts and serial numbers attached. The officers said that was common these days as they can prove ownership and sell it online. He suggested scanning all of that onto a thumb drive and keep it with me at all times. I really need to get that done. I would scan everything!

Jenna November 30, 2011 at 6:11 pm

I would use this for receipts.

Hi Christie,
If I won the scanner, I would use it to organize every piece of paper here, but most importantly those involved in the programs for disabilities for each of us in the household. Hubs and I are physically disabled, that required re-documentation every year, our son has autism and it seems there is no end of paperwork involved in his disability and other programs. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity

What type of paper clutter would you eliminate with the NeatReceipts Scanner?
Oddly enough I have two things on my list for Christmas this year and this was the first one. I have been looking for a scanner to help “go green” by scanning in documents, receipts, etc that I need to retain. I’ve had the flat bed scanner before and it’s just not “simple”. I would also like to be able to scan my kids special papers from school to save and eventually make a photo/ memory book for them highlighting the special things like report cards and achievements. My husband would then love Deal Seeking Mom if I won because that’s one less gift he would have to worry about.
I’m now subscriber of emails, am a fan on facebook along with The Neat Company now.
