Grateful Giveaways #4: thinkSMART for Wii & DS

For this next giveaway is for younger kids as they get ready for back-to-school! thinkSmart Games are fun and educational games for Nintendo Wii and DS handheld systems designed to keep children excited and engaged while they play!

Crazy Machines for both Wii & DS
Think outside of the box and push the boundaries of creative thinking as you utilize random objects (anvil, rolling spheres and more!) to build a variety of increasingly complex contraptions that cause chain reactions. Big picture thinking, big fun and big points await in the construction of Crazy Machines!

Cosmos Chaos for DS
When it comes to fun and educational games, nothing can compare to Cosmos Chaos! Funded by a Star Schools grant from the U.S. Department of Education and developed by PREL (Pacific Resources for Education and Learning), Cosmos Chaos! is a collaborative effort on the part of talented video game developers and respected experts in the field of educational research. The result? An exciting and challenging reading game that’s as fun as it is educational!

Labyrinth for DS
Based on the popular board game, Labyrinth drops players in a series of mazes where logical thinking and problem-solving skills are the only way out. Move the walls with the stylus and discover all your treasures in the labyrinth before your opponents do!

Scotland Yard for DS
The chase is a-foot! Scotland Yard is searching for Mister X in London, New York, Berlin, Paris & Amsterdam. Deductive thinking and procedural logic are key as players aid the famous detectives in the capture of the elusive Mr. X.

The DS games are compatable with your Nintendo DS, DSi, or the new 3D3. When you’re at home, you can play the home version of Crazy Machines on the Wii. Mentor Interactive has created a group of games that are both challenging and fun and entirely appropriate for everyone, but the younger set will be most intrigued with these puzzlers and strategy games. The games are both fun and educational so you can feel good about your kids enjoying them.

One lucky Wild For Wags reader will win a thinkSMART Games prize package that includes all of the games listed above!

You can even gain up to 3 bonus entries for doing each additional item listed (just make sure that you leave one entry for each one – up to a total of 4 comments.) As a reminder, comments left on Facebook, Twitter or other posts will not be included.

Definitely Scotland Yard. Being on such a tight budget all the time, has forced me to get creative with activities for the kids that do not cost anything. One that has become a summertime favorite of theirs is the detective game I invented for them. I put together a detective binder and they have the day to solve the clues to find the new ones (sort of like a scavenger hunt/mystery game), eventually getting to the treasure or reward for solving the mystery which is usually baked goodies! Sometimes we even travel to find clues, which is a cover for when I have errands to run lol. For example if I have to go to the doctor’s office they have to find a circled clue in a magazine in the waiting room, which I of course plant when they aren’t looking. Keeps them busy, well-behaved, & I get all my errands done with no complaining! BTW I am a subscriber & FB follower! Keep up the awesome work! I’m also a Think Smart FB fan!
