Hi! I wear a pedometer and try to log 10,000 steps a day by making simple changes like walking to the bathroom at work that is on the other side of the building. I try to eat a variety of fruits every day and drink LOTS of water!

I excercise for at least an hour a day 6x/week.
I have hypothyroid and its hard to lose weight. But for 10 years I have been eating alot healthier and exercising. I choose to drink tons of water and eat the right carbohydrates and leaner meats. I try all the new kinds of exercise that is offered. Many which are free on cable and know I do my best. I have been up and down due to the disorder but I also use Fiber One products to help me when I need it. I love these products. The cereals are amazing!!

I just started a walking program with a goal to lose 50 lbs. I love fiber one cereals and a pedometer would be a great asset.
Although I’m NOT a runner, since I turned 40 this past March it’s been on my Bucket List to run a half-marathon. I’ve signed up for the Disney Princess Half Marathon to run in 2012 with my little sister who has lost over 100 lbs over the past couple of years. For now I’m going to the gym 5 days a week and doing interval and treadmill training and I’m making homemade dinner for my family 6 nights out of 7. We used to eat out ALL the time.

I am learning to avoid taking on too much in my life. The stress that results leads to poor sleeping habits, impulsive eating decisions, and missed opportunities to exercise. Learning when to say “No” goes a long way towards maintaing good health.
