I have already liked you on Fb for several months and read daily. Youve helped me get sooo many freebies and other great stock up items already! You rock! Anyways, if i recieve the gift card I would do 2 things, one is to get a few more items for a vacation at the end of july that ive been couponing to get all the nescesities we will need and the 2nd would be to make gallon ziplocs with hygiene products to pass to he homeless people we always come across asking for money. I prefer not to give them cash and everyone needs toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, etc. Found this idea on another blog and thought it was great but im not at the point to put it into practice. We have a very large homeless community here so its an everyday occurance to have someone ask for change and i feel bad saying no.. This idea works for me as a way to help and not feel like an enabler.

* With a $25 gift card I would buy my sons their “extra credit” toys from Targets clearance rack. I was down a couple of weeks with a viral infection. Of course it was during a time we were moving! Our 7 and 9 year old boys really stepped up and helped pack boxes with Dad and checked in on me all the time to see if I needed anything. They earned “extra credit” by doing extra chores while I was sick. I plan to get them some good toys on clearance at Target soon. Legos, Hot Wheels, and Transformers are their favorites.

The first thing I’d do is watch my local Wags for a clearance on cat food. Then I’d use part of the gift card for that which I donate to ‘Friends of Felines’ here in Salem Oregon. I’ve been happy to be able to donate some much needed food in the past couple of months thanks to the tips here.

I would spend it all on cosmetics, probably mascara and lipstick. Maybe some eye shadow, too.
