Green Giant Prize Pack Giveaway!

We are always looking for easy and healthy meals at my house, so I’m a fan of veggies that are easy to prepare.  I was pleased to learn that Green Giant Boxed Vegetables offer twenty-nine varieties that are now endorsed by Weight Watchers, and most have only a 1 or 2 PointsPlus value per serving.

Green Giant Boxed Vegetables are so easy to make that you can literally can pull them out of the freezer and have them on your plate in a matter of minutes. They come in a wide variety of flavors, some with sauces and seasonings. They’re a terrific and easy addition to any meal and a great way to achieve better health in 2011.

I empty 2 boxes of green peas into a skillet, add about 2 tbsp olive oil and a half cup of water, 2 fresh sliced garlic cloves and a sprig of fresh rosemary- cook on med w tilted lid till waters gone, and it’s yummy rosemary peas to serve with a nice roast!

I love Green Giant frozen vegetables. I just pop a box or bag in the microwave and serve them as a side dish to a Hormel meal and mashed potatoes. Yummy and easy!

I love them steamed in the microwave with some spray butter & fresh herbs sprinkled on top! Yummo!

I will prepare them mostly as a side dish with a little salt. I have used the frozen peas in salads and the broccoli in broccoli cheese casserole.

we are low carbers. we flatten out some ground turkey and shape into a square. fill with broccoli and cheese. fold the turkey over to make a pocket. put inover til ready.
