#2 Grateful Giveaways – Dole

by Christie Bisbee on November 15, 2010

THIS ONE IS CLOSED!

Our second giveaway is all about good health & nutrition!  🙂 Are you concerned with getting enough healthy fruits into your diet? Do you have a picky eater at home that might not be getting the recommended 5 servings of fruit or vegetables per day? One great solution is Dole Frozen fruit. Dole frozen fruits are ideal to use in smoothies, for fruit salads or simply as a healthy snack. Dole offers a variety of frozen fruit products from strawberries and blueberries to more exotic fruits like mango. They also offer frozen fruit bars which are an an excellent source of Vitamin C and contain only 50 calories each. YUM!

You can also use Dole frozen fruit products in your holiday baking. Want to enjoy Peach cobbler in the middle of winter when fresh peaches are hard to come by? Dole frozen peaches make an excellent substitute and are available all year long. You can find great dessert recipes and nutritional information on Dole frozen fruit products at the Dole website.

One (1) lucky winner will get $100 in Dole product coupons for Dole Frozen Fruit products to use in your holiday baking! These coupons expire 12/31/10 so be sure to share with your friends!

Entry is simple! You just need to answer the question below by leaving a comment on this site! You can even gain up to 3 bonus entries for doing each additional item listed (just make sure that you leave one entry for each one — up to a total of 4 comments). As a reminder, comments left on Facebook, Twitter or other posts will not be included.

REQUIRED ENTRY:

1.Head on over to the Dole website and let me know which product you’d most like to try! Would you use it for a smoothie, a snack or to make a fabulous dessert?

BONUS ENTRIES:

1. Follow Wild for Wags through a reader or the daily e-mail digest HERE.

2. Follow Wild for Wags on Twitter HERE or Facebook HERE.

3. Follow Dole on Facebook.

This giveaway will remain open until 11:59 p.m. EST, Friday, November 19th. Any comments left after this cut-off will not be counted. The winner will be selected randomly and will be notified via email within 48 hours after the close of the contest.

This giveaway is part of the Grateful Giveaways Event being hosted by myself and 11 other bloggers. You can increase your chances of winning this prize (as well as all of the others on this site), by visiting each of them and entering the same way as you did here. You have plenty of time to get to all of them, since the contest will be open for five full days.

As one final reminder, you will want to check out the terms of the giveaway by visting the Grateful Giveaways: Celebrating a Season of Giving Facebook page. Just click on the TERMS tab at the top of the page. (Note that by entering this contest, you agree that you have read the terms and are eligible to enter this contest).

Dole has also made a generous donation of $500 to help feed the hungry in the United States in honor of Grateful Giveaways: Celebrating a Season of Giving. I received the same gift package that the winner will be receiving in order to do my review.  My opinions are 100% my own.
