Even though I live in a humid climate I have dry skin. It’s a family curse. So when I had the opportunity to try out MadeOn – Hard Lotion Bars for dry skin I jumped at the chance!
MadeOn Hard Lotion Bars were developed by Renee Harris, a mother of 7, who a few years ago was trying to find a way to heal the dry skin on her hands. After all, that’s a lot of diapers and a lot of hand washing! She found her solution by creating an all natural bar made with 3 natural ingredients Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Beeswax.
Each bar is handcrafted, wrapped in parchment, tucked in a tin, and labeled with the date the bar was made. She even offers a video with how to make your own bars HERE.
I was VERY impressed with the products. They weren’t greasy or heavy and you really just need a tiny bit to go a long way. I particularly like the small bar because you can just toss it in your purse, perfect for dry hands and cuticles. I used the larger bar to get my tootsies ready for those summer sandals!

I remember my mom spreading a lot of coconut oil on our hair and body when we were kids and then giving us a hot bath. Did not know why she did that but know now that it kept our skin soft and not chapped or cracked dry.
