So, I’m guessing all granola bars that are priced 2 for $4 count for the RR? And since this is a month long RR deal, can we do a raincheck for this week’s sale price if they’re out? I really think our areas will be wiped clean before I can go.

Christie October 5, 2011 at 6:10 pm

Yes – you can ask for a Rain check for the 2/$4 price if they are out. 🙂

I like the almond and my husband likes the cashew. These are not hard as concrete and they are very filling. The ones in the green box have two thin bars in each pkg and are very crisp. I have purchased these at Walmart for $2.68 without coupons ~gasp~ This is a very good deal.

Never worked for me in Texas today. I bought 4 Oats and Honey, 1 Sweet and Salty Nut and 1 Trail Mix. No reward printed 🙁

I live in Houston TX and just did this deal. My Wags carried 2 Sweet and Salty kinds. I bought 8 total (4 in 2 trans) and got 2 $2.00 RR (1 per trans). Thanks for the heads up!!!

Does anyone know if the RR will print out for the trail mix ones as well?

Thanks.

Yes, I purchased 4 trail mix boxes tonight and the $2 rr printed for me.

Are any of these NOT as hard as concrete?

Reply

Bev October 5, 2011 at 7:21 pm

The Sweet & Salty Nut Bars are excellent, and NOT as hard as concrete.

The Sweet & Salty and Trail Mix (if they are included, still wondering on those) are the best of all of them. And no way as hard as the original Nature Valley bars.

The picture shows 2/$3 but the “deal idea” says 2/4$…. am I missing something?

That’s the price after the Wags Q. (it says in little letters – AFTER Instant coupon) So just follow my scenario and you’ll be good. 😉

Will I not get a RR if I buy 6 in one transaction? Do I just need to buy 4?

Reply

Kristy October 6, 2011 at 10:01 am

Rita, I just purchased 6 boxes of the crunchy granola bars & it printed a $3 reward here in Ohio. The walgreens coupon took of $3. Yesterday I bought 4 boxes of the sweet & Salty & it printed a $2 reward. Hope this helps.

So does RR only print for the sweet and salty? has anyone bought any other variety?

Reply

Jenn October 6, 2011 at 11:05 am

I purchased the trail mix fruit & nut and trail mix Dark Chocolate & Nut. I also bought the Oats & Honey Crunchy bars. I purchased 6 @ a time and received the $3 RR.

My husband is a diabetic and he loves the Nature Valley Granola thins. He puts them in his yogurt. Are these included in this deal?

Kristina October 6, 2011 at 4:29 pm

For some reason the October book coupon took off .50 for 2 instead of 1.00 for 2. She fixed it but I almost missed it.

Reply

debra October 6, 2011 at 6:47 pm

The .50 IP for Sweet and Salty beeped for me, they ended up only letting me use 1 of them – using the ‘one per purchase’ BS. Later when I looked at the receipt, the Oct book Q rang up as a Manufacturer coupon.

Bought 4 boxes…
– .75/2 from insert,
– $2.00 from WAGS OCT book
– .50 from IP Sweet/Salty

I did get the $2 RR, and it’s still good deal, but miffed about the beeper Q.

I had the same problem. I had the 75c/2, the 50c/1 and 60c/1 coupons to buy 4 boxes. The manager said I could not use the October booklet coupon since it was a mnf. coupon. But then I tried ringing the coupons in a different order, and it worked. He said he couldn’t do it that way though – they are supposed to always ring the booklet coupons first.

Anyone else ever heard of that? It was new to me…

I just bought 6 and no RR printed. Manager tried another register and still no RR printed! What can I do?

Reply

Christie October 7, 2011 at 11:12 am

look at my FAQ page (find the link on the bottom right of my page) you can get the information to call the Catalina company to get your RR.

Reply

kblnana October 7, 2011 at 3:33 pm

I also just bought 6 boxes and no RR either. Bummer! The cashier told me they don’t give RR if you use any manufactures coupons. They also told me effective this week, you can only do multiple transactions on Saturdays only. Because the shelves are being wiped out. I live in Coastal SC and seem to have problems whenever I shop our local Wags.
