Crayola Fine Line Washable Markers = FREE!

by Christie Bisbee on August 1, 2011

I decided to try buying the Crayola Fine Line markers to see if they also worked for the Register Reward deal. Since they were marked the same price I figured I had a good chance. Sure enough, they rang up $2 and worked for the Register Reward deal.

Since these aren’t the ones pictured there were plenty of those left in stock at my store! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I saw these markers offered yesterday in our store and asked if they would work. The nice lady asked if I wanted the regular ones as well, sure! So she rang them up separately and I got the RR for each! Yeah Walgreens!

These were surprisingly marked at my store yesterday. They were very well stocked too so I picked up several. They worked perfectly at the register.

These markers are in our basic stock and also in the school supply section, so be sure to check both areas. We were only given one set of tags to put up, so we tagged our basic section that is there year-round, but weren’t able to tag our seasonal supply. We had a only a few left last night in the seasonal isle, but our basic stock hadn’t been touched yet. Check both!!

There were baskets and displays of the fine line ones marked with the $2RR sign all over my store, but not a single reg size one in sight. Which are the ones I was looking for. Sighhhhhh

My store did not give the RR for these yesterday, I was so bummed.

I was surprised to see these marked in my store also. I didn’t see any of the washable markers in the back to school department, but they had a bunch in the regular office supply section.

Better than free if you picked up some of those calendars when they were on clearance for 25ยข. They had lots of Walgreens coupons in them and my favorite was the $1 off any 2 Crayola products coupon. It doesn’t expire until 12/31/11. Such a sweet deal!

how come they say $3.99 then if they are supposed to be $2?? I bought some the other day just to try it, and I got the $2 RR but i bought several other items so I am not even sure how much I paid for them… I will have to check but does anyone know why they are marked for $3.99 when they are supposed to be $2????

They just didn’t have the sign up on them yet that’s all.

The employees have 100 things they have to do on Sunday mornings (including ringing us up!) and it can take time for them to get to all the signs. $3.99 is the price for the rest of the month.

I can’t believe I forgot about those calendar coupons!

anyway, these crayola markers (both broad and fine line) seemed to be the ONLY RR items correctly marked at my store yesterday! plenty of stock on the fine line, but the broad disappeared quickly!

If you buy one regular and one fine will you get 2 RR’s?

Thanks!

only if you do them in separate transactions and don’t use the first RR to pay for the anything in your second transaction.

I got 2 packs of the thin markers yesterday because the fat ones were sold out… it did have RR signs on both at that store though

Regarding the calendar coupons: I came across a calendar, yesterday, but it was only marked down to $1.25. I was surprised. I bought it anyways b/c I’ve just about used up my Crayola coupons on Crayola Model Magic and some other little Crayola thing with markers that was clearanced for 49 cents each. This is an awesome deal, though, I will have to try it so I can add them to my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.

I went to two stores on Sunday that both had both the fine and thick markers labeled as producing the RR
