by Christie Bisbee on December 31, 2010

Here are the Register Reward Deals starting 1/2. If the smaller size Sinex box rings up $4 then we’ll have an incredible Money Maker! We also have lots of freebies, a great deal on Advil, Tilex, Tidy Cat, Purina Dog or Puppy Chow, Coffee-mate, Lean Cuisine, Lean Pockets and more.

If you don’t have a coupon or you need more, you can always use a coupon clipping service. Two of my favorites are My Coupon Hunter &The Coupon Carry Out. You can also buy coupons on eBay HERE.

Has anyone been able to print the children’s Oscillo coupon?

Reply

D L December 31, 2010 at 10:26 am

I was able to print the Oscillo Q…it comes up as a pdf file, just download to your desktop and then double-click. I always download because the Q is good until 2012, never know when they’ll have another RR deal later in the year 🙂

Just printed my Oscillo coupons. Worked fine.

If anyone got a home mailer a couple weeks ago from Pampers, it has a $2/1 coupon for Vaporub 🙂 Will turn that deal into an $8 moneymaker for me!

On the Oscillo Q…the January coupon book has a $5/1 for Oscillo 6ct..it has a picture of the adult version, but since the children’s is 6ct. it should work for it too! Combine w/ the MQ and it’s a $7 MM!!! woohooie!!!!!!

Reply

as December 31, 2010 at 7:29 pm

How do you figure the Sinex being a $7 MM?

Reply

as December 31, 2010 at 7:29 pm

Nevermind I figured it out.

Reply

pb December 31, 2010 at 8:10 pm

DL I thought the same thing!!! 🙂 I was wondering if it would work! is the RR only on the childrens or the adults too?

Reply

Christie December 31, 2010 at 11:05 pm

If the $5/1 works that would be AMAZING but I’m I’m reluctant to post until we can know for sure. I can’t wait to see what happens. 🙂

I just printed the Advil coupon off the link that was given and it is for a 40 count or larger. Will Walgreens accept it for the 20-24 ct bottles?

Reply

shelly January 1, 2011 at 1:12 pm

I got a $2.25 coupon for Finish 20 ct in my paper, wouldn’t this be a money maker with the RR? I guess its only .26 money maker but still better than free!

Reply

Christie January 1, 2011 at 1:50 pm

Shelly – Lucky You! That’s awesome! I’m guessing that is a regional coupon. What was it in? Yes, that would make for a GREAT deal. Wish I had it. 🙂

Mary – They change what coupons are available on their site all the time so if it’s now for the 40ct+ no, you would not be able to use it. Bummer. You would be better off with the $2/1 from the inserts if you have it.

shelly January 1, 2011 at 2:05 pm

Its in Smart Sourse, I got two Smart Sourse inserts and I live in a small town I’m surprized others haven’t got it, I think if I remember right there was advertizing on TV about a half off coupon being in the local papers.

Hey, Christie, happy new year! Thanks for the many times you provided the incentive to go after deals while we struggle with my husband’s lack of work since April, 2010. We are praying for one of three jobs with applications pending that look promising! But, anyway, until then…a couple of questions.

Been really stuggling with sniffles and/or eye itching all week; need Dimetapp but need those prices for week 01/02 sales. If I buy late this evening (Saturday), think I will get the 2/$10 and the Monthly RR deal together? I think the next week’s sale prices are released in the PM of the Saturday before. Any comment on that?

Next Question:

I did see someone already post about on another blog that the Wags Q in the Jan. booklet can be used on the Oscillo sale with return RR on Sunday 01/02. What makes her so confident that it will work on the children’s version? Don’t get me wrong; I love a deal but I do prefer caution when considering a deal strategy in contrast to compulsion to get a deal posted first. Of course, for everyone’s sake, I hope this “deal” flies but like a plane, I would like it to straigthen up and fly right! (insert LOL here!) 🙂 Ok, enough; carefully stepping off the soap box now! 🙂

MY NEW Year’s wish: that all those marketing people are so creative with their promos that we all get wealthy and stay healthy! 🙂

Reply

Christie January 1, 2011 at 3:14 pm

Jan –
#1 First of all, I’ll say a prayer for your husband and that one of those jobs come through and Happy New Year!

#2 Yes, you can mix the RR from this week (thru 1/1) with the price of next week (1/2) in 99% of the cases when you shop on Saturday night. It’ll vary by stores but I find if you go after 7pm at most stores on a Saturday evening you should be good. (Hope your cold gets better!)

#3 I have seen other people posting that the Oscillo coupon “will” work. Honestly, they don’t know. There is no way to know until you go into the store and try it (which obviously can’t happen until tomorrow). I think it’s pretty funny since I was the first person to get a hold of the Jan. book and I’ve had that coupon in my possession for over a week. So, if I don’t know if it works I don’t know how they would. LOL.

I choose to not post that sort of stuff until I’m sure it works. I would rather be later and right that first and wrong. That’s just my philosophy. 🙂

Wow Shelly..I would love to find that too. What is the date on the Smart source coupon? Thanks

I have a ??? about the rewards like for example $5 RR when you purchase $20 in Nestle items. Im a newbie to all this especially drug store shopping, so if I was going to use coupons, does this apply to the value of the products or the ACTUAL cost of the transaction? like if I bought $20 worth of things, but used coupons and paid $15 do I still get the $5 RR??? or does my total still have to add up to $20 OOP even after coupons?

Reply

Christie January 2, 2011 at 12:06 am

Mindy – It’s the price before coupons! 🙂

Christie, I noticed an AARP RR on page 9 of my insert that I think is for the month. Spend $20, get $5. It looks like the one in October (except I know where our card is so I can try it this month.)

Reply

LisaCarol January 3, 2011 at 1:57 pm

I just tried the AARP deal out, with a transaction that was over $20 after Wag coupons, but less (~$10) with MQs. No RRs, which was what the checkout folks predicted. So, I think it will be like the super jingle cash was later in December.

Does anyone have a store that sells the Vicks Sinex in the smaller boxes? My store only carries the 20 ct box. Not a money maker for me. 🙁

Vicks cough drops on sale for 2/1.79 you can use 2 1.00 coupons from 12-26 proctor and gamble for a 21 cent overage. Vicks cough drops are up by the register (by the gum).
