by Christie Bisbee on July 31, 2010

Here are some ideas for the Nestle monthly deal starting tomorrow. Remember if  you do this deal with the Friends & Family discount later this week you’ll need to adjust to hit the $20 mark since everything would be 15% OFF. So I’ve included what those deals would look like too.

I think I might do the dog chow one and donate the bags to the shelter.

Inside the new bags of Purina Kitten Chow, there is a coupon packet. The outside of the bag will say “Savings of over $8.00 inside!” One of the coupons inside is for One free 3.5 lb Purina Cat Chow when you buy (2) 3.5 lb bags of Kitten Chow. That can sweeten this deal even more!

What are the chances of finding even 4 of the kitten chow bags at the same store? Our WAGS seem to keep very low stock on items. I have all those kitten chow coupons, but am not hopeful I can even find 4 bags—-still gonna try though! 🙂

I think the best time to check is saturday evenings when they are restocking for a new week.

I did your scenario this week and it worked perfectly! When I bought the Complete contact solution there was a $1 MF peelie on the box, so it was actually a $1 Money Maker!!! Love it! I’m stocking my sister up to go back to college – she can’t believe how cheap I’m getting everything!

My Walgreens had extra stocks of dog and cat food on end caps this week. I guess they were preparing for us! I’m considering heading back later this week to do this deal. I have no animals but there is a group in my community that collects animal food and distributes it to people who own animals but, due to a rough economy, just can’t afford to purchase pet food at this time.

I’m hoping my stores are stocked well too! That’s a great idea to donate the food—-so many displaced animals and hard working families that just can’t make ends meet these days. 🙁

I LOVE that you guys are thinking about buying the food and donating it! That’s awesome! You can either donate it to a shelter (since they go through TONS of food) or you can donate it to a food pantry that accepts pet food. That helps families who are facing hard times to keep their pets so they don’t have to end up at the shelter in the first place.

I am a big animal lover and go through more pet food than I care to admit so whenever I see cheap pet food I’m all over it!
