The $2 Register Reward for Herbal Essences or the Aussie is currently rolling.
With that said, the new P&G Register Rewards do state they are not valid on the purchase of another P&G product. So this is a YMMV. However it’s nice to know that if you happen to pay with the Herbal Essences Register Reward to buy another Herbal Essences your $2 Register Reward will print out. I know I’ve accidentally done this many times and had to kiss my register reward goodbye!
Honestly, the broad P&G restriction is a bit silly to me. Can you really expect people to memorize every single product P&G makes? Will there be a test?
This may just be one of those flukes that lasts for today but I thought you’d all want to know. Let us know if you find anything different!

Today I used the $5.00 P&G RR from the Gillette Fusion Proglide when I purchased the P&G Old Spice Body Wash deal(s) and the P&G Gillette Body Wash/Anti- erspirant deal(s), and this $5.00 RR rolled for both items.
I think I must be slow (its my summer vacation and my brain is really taking a break). So, when you say that if the amounts for RR promotion are different, it should still produce an RR, is that just when you have like 2 P&G transactions? For example, lets pretend that both Old Spice and Pantene were on sale and producing RR but of different amounts. I could alternate just those two items and still get the RR produced everytime? But that same scenario wouldn’t work if they were both producing saying $1 RR? I’ve been around for a while, but this notion is new to me. I thought you couldn’t use P&G on P&G period (which, yes does seem really silly to me). Thank so much.

If both of those items had a $1 RR you would not get a second RR if you used one to buy the other. But if they were $5 and $4.49 you’d be just fine! Just like Ira did above with the $4 ProGlide and the $4.50 Old Spice.
Christie-Please keep us posted on this. I accidently purchased the wrong item today and didn’t have time to go back and get the right stuff so I will be going back tomorrow.
Does anyone know if in the test areas for the Walgreens Rewards card, that the RR will print for the Herbal Essences/Aussie deal? The RR was not advertised in our test area version of the ad – instead, what was advertised was that we get “400 bonus points” added to the card (I’d rather have a RR than the bonus points!). Anyone tried it in any of the test areas? I’m in Portland, Oregon.

We managed to Roll the Ausie / Herbal Essences at two WAGS. Talked to the clerk in the store, and they let us do 10 of these, each on their own order! Roll on!!

Ok-I am new to couponing and am not getting this. I saw somewhere where it was posted what it means for rolling, read about, and then can’t remember- what is rolling?? Also saw that someone posted somthing about a Walgreens Rewards card, my mother-in-law keeps telling me about this and says it is inside of a booklet, I can’t seem to pick up the right booklet! I would really like to sign up for rewards can someone help me? Thanks!

The rewards card is only for certain test markets so it might not be in your area. If you ad says something like 400 points on the Herbal Essences you are in a test market, if it says $2 Register Reward, you are not, no card needed! Just look at the back page of your ad to find out!
I went and my cashier was so happy to see me! I told her the Aussie and Herbal are rolling and she said I could get all I wanted that she had boxes of over stock in the back! Whoa! I got the Lysol and she let me use the $1 off lysol wipes on the toliet and paid $.99 for 2 and used the $1RR toward the shampoo and the $2RR from shampoo and paid $.34 for the shampoo and got $2 back. she gave me 2 Gillete recycle bags and filled both up with hair products and Lysol!

I have a question. I just came from Walgreens, but was unsure of how to work this. Can i buy say 3 aussie and herbal essance products and get $2 in RR for each totaling $6 if i did it in one transaction? Or do i have to buy one at a time get my $2 RR then buy it again and use $2 RR and keep doing that?
So initially i will pay $2.99 with out coupon. Get $2 RR then buy another one and pay .99?? This is so confusing. I just spent $9 oop and have a $7.50 RR. Is that good or bad? I got 2 Renu solutions, limeaway, comet, 3 hunts tomatoe sauces, old spice body wash, and a old spice deoderant that my husband refuses to use. uhg
UUGH! Looks like I am in the points test market. So does that mean I will not get RR for the Herbal Essences? I’ll bet that was why I didn’t get RR for the Lysol. Should I sign up for the card?

you dont need a filler IF-you are just buying the shampoo use the $2rr from shampoo you dont need a filler….if you buy the shampoo and use $1RR from the lysol and $2RR from the shampoo and a chip bag for $3/1 your total comes out to $.34 and you still leave with a $2RR!
i went to 2 different stores and they are still rolling! The ladies are so nice they give me the free Gillette bags and let me get all the shampoo i wnat.

My wags was out of the single box of sensitive RENU but they had a double box that rang up $8.49 I used the $2 off coupon and it produced the $7.50RR. Just wanted to pass the info along! Two Boxes plus $1MM!
