Even Bigger Schick Hydro Money Maker!

by Christie Bisbee on June 14, 2010

For those of you lucky enough to have the Schick Hydro Razor coupon in your paper a GREAT deal just got better! Schick just put out a Mail In Rebate for a TRY ME FREE Schick Hydro Razor! Wow! So go HERE to print out the rebate.

To receive your Rebate Check, (up to $10.99) you will need the original UPC from package, the original dated sales receipt & the rebate request form. You have until August 18th to submit it. It is not valid if purchased at BJ’s or Sam’s Club.

I was going to pass on the Schick razor this time but not with this rebate! I didn’t get the coupon so I just ordered mine from the Coupon Clippers HERE. There is a limit of (5) right now on these coupons, but honestly if there wasn’t there wouldn’t be any left.

Buy
1 – Schick Hydro 3 0r 5 Blade Razor $7.99
Use
-$5/1 Schick Hydro Razor, Any 06-13-10 SS
Total = $2.99, Get Back $4 RR = $1.01 Money Maker
Submit for Rebate = $9 OR $4 Money Maker

I am unsure if Schick will reimburse you for the $7.99 pre-coupon or the $2.99 after coupon price, and apparently so is Schick. I called Schick and no one seemed to have the answer so they are figuring it out and I’m waiting for a call back from them. I’ll let you know how that goes.  Either way, it’s a GREAT deal!

(Thanks Chi-Town Cheapskate & Mojo Savings!)

The date on the rebate states purchased 6/14/00 to 8/18/10, so those that bought yesterday may have to re-buy today to be valid – still an awesome deal!

Christie – Since the rebate says “Not valid in combination with any other offers” can we submit the rebate if we use a MQ coupon to buy?

since a lot of receipts (including Wags) don’t match the line item purchase with the coupon (like Target does) I would guess that Schick has no way of really knowing if we used the coupon or not. I would strongly anticipate getting the full purchase price of $7.99 back. Thanks for letting me know! I grabbed my receipt (that I almost tossed a few minutes ago) and am filling out the MIR as we speak!

Also, when I send in rebates I typically black out irrelevant information, like the subtotal and total due… and sometimes the coupon values too. They don’t really need that info to process the rebate, and its not really any of their business how or how much I paid anyway. I have yet to be denied a rebate based on black out information that doesn’t relate to the rebate.
