I have a question I’ve been meaning to ask you, and this reminds me. I had two Scotch tape coupons (I’m not sure how old they were) for a dollar off any card, which I tried to use during the Hallmark RR promo and they wouldn’t go through. The clerk (who was new to me) said that Wags doesn’t take coupons with no expiration date. Is this true? Or was the problem that they were for more than the 99 cent cards I was buying?
LisaCarol – That’s called your cashier didn’t know what was happening so they made something up. Walgreens will take coupons with no exp. date. Since they were for any greeting card from any company they would have to be pushed through because they wouldn’t be coded for any 1 company like Hallmark or American Greetings. There wouldn’t be a family code in the bar code.
Aha. I hadn’t thought of the not having a company associated with it. Guess I’ll try again some time, armed with that explanation. Thanks!
