$2/3 Mars Holiday Coupons Available!

by Christie Bisbee on December 5, 2010

For those of you who didn’t get the $2/3 Mars Holiday Products in your paper, or if you want more of these coupons, I have some good news! My Coupon Hunter has them available! At last check there were over 400.

These Snickers Nutcrackers will be great to throw in gift bags for kids, friends or co-workers and you can’t beat FREE!

I only got this coupon in one of my two major local papers but I don’t want to spend a bunch on buying a ton of papers just to do this deal, so it’s a lot easier for me just to buy the coupons from My Coupon Hunter that I need.

How long does it usually take for you to receive these?

I’m in the same state, so I get them usually within 2 days.

The $2/3 Snickers coupon beeped on me. The cashier wouldn’t honor it. 🙁

Jeni, did you buy six of them? If you only bought 3 and it is 3/$1, then the coupon was beeping because it was trying to take off $1 more than the value. If you buy 6 (I just did this at one of my stores) it won’t beep because you have $2 worth of snickers.

Does anyone know if this coupon attaches to all 6 or if you will be able to use these as fillers with RRs?

Michelle, I live in Washington state and got my coupons within just a few days (I think it was 3 days, but it might have been 4). She’s really quick, and in her email updates says that if you need something fast just email her and she will do what she can.

Jeni – I just used it yesterday. It works like 99% of MQ do at Walgreens. Just like Maria said, if you try & buy (3) it will beep. Walgreens doesn’t give overage with MQ in 99.9% of cases.

However if you buy (6) of them, which will cost $2, then the $2 will come off and it will not beep. 🙂 So (6) FREE chocolates!

Which insert were the $2/3 Mars Holiday Products coupons in? I hope I got it in at least 1 of my newspapers.

Thanks for posting, Christie! 🙂

Oh, nevermind. My question was answered when I scrolled a couple posts down from this one: 12/5 RP. Thanks again.

Went to 2 Walgreens today and neither had this candy. Got a rain check for candy. Felt silly for doing it though. Has anyone else found that problem?

Yes! I went to Walgreens tonight to purchase the snickers and they were all out. When I asked an employee if they had any more, he told me that a lady had come in this morning and bought 72 of them.
How irritating! Oh well, I didn’t think to ask for a rebate. I wonder if they will get more in this season?

Christie- thanks! I was only buying 3 of them and it beeped. I thought they would be able to adjust the price down per their coupon policy, but the cashier kept telling me I didn’t buy any of the items “spelled out” on the coupon. I’ll go back and get 6 of them then!

Jeni – It’s sad but I find that 99% of their staff (that I come across) has never even heard of the coupon policy. Ridiculous but true, so although you are 100% right and that’s what they should have done, they don’t know it. So, I usually find a way to avoid the headahce. 🙂

i found that when i bought 6 the coupon only attached to 3 of them, so i could use the other 3 as fillers. It is nice to have fillers with out the extra cost

@Christie We were told about the new coupon policy at the store I work at. However, unfortunately for some people, we have much more important things to worry about than adjusting coupons or something minimal like that (facing, stocking shelves, hanging tags, helping managers, etc). I would say 75% of customers don’t use a single coupon in their transaction, and of those 25% who do, only about 10% use register rewards and manufacturer coupons! Hope that helps explain why some employees don’t like dealing with coupons!

I’ve worked at Walgreens for over a year, we’ve never been told about the coupon policy.
I do work in pharmacy though, but I wouldn’t call it ridiculous..when I worked on the floor, we had like 4 “coupon crazies” so it’s definitely not top priority to know a coupon policy.

Guest #1 – At least your store informed staff that there was one. I find most employees haven’t ever been told about it. What good is it to have one if it’s a secret?

Guest #2 – I can see where it wouldn’t be as much of an issue in pharmacy. I have to say though when the manager of a store has no idea that the corporation even has a coupon policy, in my opinion that’s ridiculous.

haha, we have a couple people that try and come and do 5 different transactions in pharmacy when they pick up their medicine with a ton of coupons….then they get mad when I ask them to go to cosmetics or up front..I work at the busiest store in our district, I don’t have time for it :S
I actually have no idea if my store manager knows about the coupon policy, I kind of want to know.

My wags(Sandy,OR) didn’t get any in stock until today (Sat) and I’m so happy I didn’t use all my coupons at Fredy’s (they’re priced 2/$1). So I ended up getting 8 free at Fredy’s and then 12 free at Wags. 🙂
