This is awesome. I have a bunch of the coupons for $2.50/2 and $1.50/1 Daily hair treatment. I had one $2/1 IP left. I had used my others at Target last week. Thanks so much for confirming this!
So, what’s the best way to work this. I have a couple of the $2 off coupons and one of the $1.50 off a product coupons. Let’s say I purchase 1 shampoo, use a $2/1, so I pay $2 +tax OOP and earn a $4RR. So then I could purchase another shampoo, but I don’t need to use my coupon b/c I will be able to buy it for Tax only when I use the $4RR that printed for the first one I bought. So should I find something else to buy that is around $2 so that I can use my $2 off shampoo coupon and the $4 RR and get both things for free+tax. I mean, I guess that seems like a no-brainer to some but I’m just getting into this and want to learn the best way to optimize what I get vs. how much I spend!! 🙂 Thanks and love the new site by the way!
You could buy the Dove with your $2 IP and then throw in something else like Dentek for $2 to make it $4 and then you’d get $6 in RR back. If you have the $1 from Dentek Q then your total would be $3 and you could throw in yet something else. Or if there is something you need like bread, crackers, creamer, etc. you could use the $2 IP and just buy $2 worth of stuff you need, essentially for FREE! Have Fun!
Ok so here is my plan, what do you think?
Transaction 1
Dove $4
Use $2/1
Pay $2 + tax and earn $4 RR
Transaction 2
Dove $4
Dentek $2 (I don’t have a coupon for this one)
Use $2/1 Dove
Use $4 RR earned above
Pay tax only and earn $6 RR
Transaction 3
Dove $4
Accucheck monitor $9.99
Filler
Use $1.50/1 Dove
Use $5/1 Accucheck
Use $6 RR earned above
Pay $1.40 plus filler plus tax and earn $4RR
Transaction 4
5 – 12 packs of coke products for $13 (w/ in ad coupon)
Use $4RR earned above
Pay $9 plus tax
Total spent equals $12.40 plus tax then submit for $9.99 Accucheck in-box rebate for a total spent around $2.41 plus tax (plus small filler)
Did I figure this right???
It all looks good to me! The only tiny thing is in Transaction #4 it will be $1.49, instead of $1.40, but, hey that’s only 9 cents! Great Job! 🙂
Dove stopped rolling as of 3/30 9:28 CST.
