If you are looking for some fun activities for the kids, that don’t cost a ton, I have an idea for you! We have been having such a great time with this Kid’s Paper Airplane Book. It’s not only fun to make the planes and play with them, but the book is actually really educational too.
The instructions are simple enough that my 4 year old can do it, with my help of course, and the book is also appealing to older kids. My 12 year old step-sons have been having a blast with it too! In addition to the colorful and fun paper planes, it offers a ton of information on the science of paper planes, ideas for fun games and there’s even a Paper Plane Pilot’s Licence for your child to fill out and proudly display. It’s super cute. Even the dog is enjoying chasing the planes. 😂 I’ve really been trying to incorporate activities that we can do outside to get a little exercise and fresh air. The paper airplane projects combine science, engineering and physical activity – WAY better than sitting in front of a screen all day. You can pick one up on Amazon with prime shipping HERE. This would also be a nice Easter Basket idea!

Ken Blackburn was/is? an aerodynamic engineer at Boeing in St. Louis. My 7-8th grade classes saw him on a field trip. He also came to our school for a flight assembly demonstrating his Guinness Book of Records paper plane.
Oh how cool! I’ll have to let my son know!
Your little one is so cute! Enjoy in spite of the conditions!
Awww TY! It’s hard work trying to keep them all entertained! LOL.
