Sweet ING Direct Money Maker is Back!

by Christie Bisbee on March 26, 2011

ING Direct is again offering $50 when you open a NEW ING Direct Electric Orange Checking account! We have been using ING for years and love them. It’s 100% FREE, with no minimum required. You can start your account with just $5! There are no monthly fees or ATM surcharges.

Make just (3) card purchases with your NEW ING Debit card within 45 days of opening your account and your $50 will be credited on day 50.

Here’s one sweet MONEY MAKING idea – Just deposit $5 and use the debit card to pay for 3 small out of pocket transactions at Walgreens and that’s it! You’ll get your $50 (talk about a Money Maker). Click on “Apply Now” in the box to the left to learn more!

We already have a checking that we like. Does it still make sense to do this even though we won’t use it?

Thanks I signed up! This would be a good account to transfer you the amount you will allow yourself to spend each month at wags, cvs, etc.

I opened up an account for my daughter last fall when they offered $25 to do so. I just recently looked at the account and the $25 was never deposited. Very disappointed.

Lisa – I’ve been using them for years and have sent my whole family over there over the years. I have nothing but great things to say about them. Their interest rates are always so much better than anyone else and it’s helped up save more as a result.

If you met the requirement (did the 3 transactions or whatever the requirements of that offer were) then just call them and let them know. They would be able to see that on your account and I’m sure they’ll take care of it for you. They are a fabulous company.

I’ve been using ING Direct for years. It is not something I am using everyday, but this account is my “vacation fund”. I make small automated deposits monthly. They yield the highest interest from all accounts I ever had (and I have quite a few). Never had any problems with them.
